I had completely forgotten that Hidden Sanctum was a thing... I wonder if wholesome romance scenes exist in it and if anybody has played it.

On a side note, the Bastard of Canelot is kinda nice, yet it has too much text and many scenes with the potential male romantic interests.

I just made every guy my friend and kept waiting for the tsundere dames to appear....

Trying to play other routes aside from the "Don't wake me up, Asteria-chan🫠" in the [Don't] Wake Me Up game, is like trying to make a cyberpunk story with a happily ever after ending.

It's just not a priority!

A while ago, I played PixelFades's Crystalline — insanely linear visual novel — but instead of usually cursing the pervasive normie-visual-novel-enjoyers who infected my books with images, I found myself enjoying its depiction of Isekai style camaraderie and lighthearted adventure.
I hadn't had as much fun since the Oregairu visual novels — despite the series they've been named after being depressing societal dramas.

I remembered the games like Blackstone Academy, and had a nostalgia for Hogwarts themed games, sadly none had been able to replicate the early PG rated experience of the first three books.

The developers, had in their minds to recreate the experience of reading the Harry Potter books, yet so far had been unable to do so while adding things like cussing, too much violence, or modern-inspired politics.

Didn't notice it before, but in Wayhaven Chronicles, given that the A romance is supposed to be a love triangle with N, it is surprising to see the differences while romancing only A. Some scenes are more descriptive, although A's reluctance towards the detective loses it's meaning as to not hurt N's feelings. It becomes more of a path to let himself/herself be weak again.
