I also like this wip. You're right about the dashes. And sometimes conversations sound a bit too... unnatural, theatrical? It's like she's trying too hard to make the characters not sound like they're modern.

On the other hand, I am not a native English speaker, maybe I am not a good person to judge that. And maybe this is intentional; just the author's writing style. Idk.

@Parallax I see what you mean. I think it's intentiinal on the author part, but how it lands for readers is another matter. I can't say myself because to me British people always talk weird lol
