Honestly I would put more credibility in the recommendation of someone who is picky than someone who goes 'A is good, B is good, everything is good!' LOL so I'll be watching this status of yours closely for more recommendation
(I really need to start reading weeping gods, have only heard good things about it)

Weeping Gods is quite neat! It's funny, it has four origins for your MC to choose from that impacts your playthrough more than just flavor text, and it's one of the few games with an older MC (optional) The author is also seriously consistent. A rare find for IF (sorry other authors, no shade.) Regular updates, huge chunks of words every time. Would recommend :3

@mrstankylegs Right? Weeping Gods is such a gem! The origins adding actual depth and impact to the gameplay is such a nice touch, it really makes every playthrough feel fresh. And the option for an older MC? Chef’s kiss

@Foulwarden Rigjht! I love how different the origins feel, and playing an older MC with guard captain origin is just really fun lol. (Or a young, spoiled, stupid nobe brat lmao.)

@mrstankylegs okay I just binge-read Weeping Gods but d*mn as Narmer romancer I got so creeped out by him on chapter 3
my will to continue his route keeps waning especially after reading his POV, like how dare you doubt MC's determination to date you?!?!

I mean I have my eyes on Ahmose as well so I guess I'll just switch if he doesn't change his attitude towards MC but he's just too handsome not to pursue
Other than that I really enjoyed this, had been a while since I laughed so much reading an IF

@luckz Yayy, I'm glad you enjoyed! I feel ya, I was SHOOK too. Guess we'll have to wait and see how it pans out, but right now we be scared. Ahmose is a cutie, I definitely plan to romance them with late teen MC. Narmer though...If you play veteran captain MC, it's possible to have a crush on him after he saved MC's life in the war. That dynamic is SO juicy I cannot resist...
