Why does it feel like everyone and their mother suddenly wants to write an IF? Most of which will be scrapped when nobody engages enough or isn't lucrative enough. I do remember quite some time ago someone actually complained in a sense about not getting asks or some other form of engagement. Notice how I don't remember who it was or what they were writing. It's probably already gone. We've entered the slop era.
