Choice of Mods

What the ****, it's pirate site! That’s the whole point — things get posted here without the authors' permission XD If the admin is soo kind, all the authors instead of complaining on Tumblr or blocking "traitors" on their Patreons could just as well start submitting requests to have the content removed. So the forum could die.
Idiotic policy.

My old post about asking for Cryptid Coffeehouse DLC (and fulfilled by the wonderful Ephemeris) was also deleted precisely because of this reason. So I wouldn't say it was a new trend, sadly.
It is disheartening to see the admins/mods bending down to these greedy writers/developers over their loyal users but what can we do.

It's not the first time, and I don't understand why nobody's complaining

As a leaker, I can confirm this is nothing new.

I’ve had a few takedown requests granted by CoM admins.

You guys gotta understand, CoM honours requests because we are basically the other side of IFs.

There are a bunch of authors on here who are aware their stuff gets leaked, they allow it because it’s free ads for their work. The ones who issue takedowns are just butthurt lmao.

Pretty weird since I remember reading Mind Blind's writer asking the leakers to stop with a heartfelt message (?) on the first page of WIP thread (it's still there) but it was easily ignored.
So now it feels like gambling to post leaks whether the writers will ask for deletion and whether the admins will say yes to it.
