Not surprised. More disappointed. With Dashingdon it was at least possible to take down your own work if you wanted to for whatever reason. Now that it's on here that isn't an option anymore.

Some of my WiPs that I'd expected to go down with the site show up in the list of 'preserved' works, and, to put it bluntly, even the most recent one is over ten years dead. Why would anyone bother dragging up those old corpses?

And you or whoever the one who created the post, decided to whine on COG forum instead of just asking dan to remove your/their work/demos🤣? His hard work at creating mod menus and preserving the most beloved stories from dashingdon, is nothing but praiseworthy btw.

I haven't managed to figure out how to send a message like that yet, since the thread with the link to the Dashingdon games is closed, but that is why I created an account on this forum, yes. Apologies for being a not so tech savvy old lady.

Because believe it or not someone out there still enjoys it. Finished or not.
It's not like the archive is locked behind a paywall or anything, or that someone took the writing and slapped their name on it and said it was theirs.
