Battle quest ending

Is the ending where our MC disappear after the final battle a true ending...I got this ending after the battle...do any of you get a different ending

i got the ending where the MC got pardoned, became the Duke of Darkhallow, and bethrothed to naya

How to get that ending lol

I imagine it also got to do with class that you choose...and I chose the Rogue

i chose the paladin, will try the soldier and rogue on the next playthrough
