Can someone explain this to me please?

I have been using cogdemo, it was using local storage to save games, but every time a wip is updated, and I try to choose my saves it doesn't take me where I saved it, it restarts and I have to play from the beginning. Do you know what I can do? Should I continue on the server storage?

It's because it was updated. IIRC when it updates saves automatically place you back at the start of the chapter (or in some cases the start of the game) rather than at the point you saved. I don't think it matters if you saved locally or on the server for this though.

It keeps defunct variables from messing with the game if your save calls on them or doesn't set a new variable that was added.
