I prefer the thief career. I just wanna steal a fortune, flee the country and live somewhere in luxury. Also, being just a thief, Sidestep can (hopefully) avoid antagonising powerful people like HG or the mayor too much, unlike in anarchist or crime boss routes.
Quite the opposite of my Sidestep
He's going to poke all the powerful people, although the motives and plans for the future depend on the version, because I have three: anarchist who wants justice, anarchist who is a psycho and will probably end up as Heartbreak 2.0 and a mob boss with ambitions to take over the entire west coast... 
I just don't see how MC realistically could defeat the Farm which is a powerful government agency. Though I guess that's what we'll end up doing regardless in the future books.Quite the opposite of my Sidestep

: D Plus there's some looming threat that players don't know about but Sidestep and Steel seem to be aware of. Sidestep in Revelations also wanted to talk about it with Hollow Ground (if you're allies).
Eh, the Farm is a research facility. That means, filled with eggheads scientists eho wouldn't be a threat to a powerful boost like Sidestep. The security system may be a bigger problem...
Well, the Farm produces super-soldiers for the US, so to go against them is to go against the whole government. It is certainly more than just a research facility and seems to have many spies around which is why Sidestep is so paranoid.
I mean, these super soldiers might rebel when they find out there's Re-Gene fighting against the Farm, the government.
Considering how unconcerned Re-Genes were with pain and everything else during the fight with Psychopathor, I think the Farm is either drugging or brainwashing Re-Genes. They would be stupid not to create a way to control such powerful assets. I think the only way Sidestep could probably defeat the Farm is by revealing their shady practices to the public and sparking the outcry against the government. Though that of course won't be easy either.
They have a pain gate somewhere in their neck. Sidestep mentioned this thing once, that they had it too. When it comes to behavior, they have to be absolutely obedient, otherwise their personality would be wiped or they would be recycled.
Probably Sidestep will be able to do it eventually, especially if you choose the "show the world the truth" motive. I'm just afraid that people won't care enough :v

Yeah, you can name them Sidestep if you have high enough daring. Like with Anathema, it prompts additional dialogue and can raise suspicion.
There is. Ortega and Herald bristle at the thought that new villain stole the name of their precious Sidestep xD It's pretty funny, but my MC doesn't use this name. It didn't fit his personality and desire to build a completely new identity for himself.
Welp I might as well plan a pure Sidestep playthrough for the next few days!!
The author is going to do update for Rebirth so this would probably be a good time to read it again. Nothing big changes, but it's always interesting to see small changes and things that have been added. I'm not sure when this update is supposed to come, tho (considering he's been mentioning it for months now).
