Ngl I was really excited for a street racing game, but I dunno this one just didnt hit. Some dialogue is very forced or corny and not in the endearing way. Plus I was expecting more actual money power, you basically cant use it on much, not even to buy new car's, and the gameplay and options can get more repetitive with time too.

Ignoring all the bugs, like you said I really would have liked the ability to buy more cars because I only ever got like 2 in my playthrough (one I stole from the police and the other the detective gave me to bust Brock). Also at the end if we beat Smokey we're told we're the "king of cordington" but honestly I just don't understand why. I wasn't ever affiliated with any of the gangs and like, yeah I beat Smokey in a race and killed him but I just don't see myself being stronger then the remaining gangs of Cordington (whatever was left of them after the finale anyways) nor do I feel untouchable. It just feels like an empty title without the option to build our own type of empire (be it making our own gang/taking over the one we joined (although I'm not sure if thats possible yet) or just organizing our own type of underground racing empire at the finale)

I think there was also no reason for our char to be so young too. Especially since some actions and choices, feel more that they were written with someone older in mind. Not old like ancient but like in their 20s or 18 at best

I actually don't like it at all to be honest. It has some irritating systems and mechanics that are absurdly frustrating. For example, when you start a race you have an option to shift into drive, clutch, then gas. The game will go "woops teehee the car was already in drive and now you're in last." Next race you choose the option not to shift into drive, then gas. Game goes "woops teehee the car was in park and now you're in last." I don't remember the exact details but there's one race where it gives you the option to brake or keep driving, no indication of what could possibly be correct. You choose to just keep driving, game says a ****ing semi plows into your car and kills you. If you didn't have the save system how to the hell do you even deal with that? Just start ALL THE WAY over? I could keep going honestly, the game sounds cool on paper but goddamn is it infuriating and repetitive.

To add to this at some point I had to mod all my racing stats because the races just feel like a coinflip after a certain point especially like you mentioned at times getting punished for some actions not even remotely dangerous and dying. I remember an option during one of the races I think against a top ten driver named Blue and choosing the option to try to bump the back of his vehicle and failing leads to us failing and swerving off a bridge and the mc plunging to their death. How on earth did I go from missing a touch of someone's bumper to taking a dip into an ocean. I thought the game was going to be like early fast and furious but it's just chaotic after a certain point most especially towards the tail end of the game and also ngl I feel there's no upside to the mc street racing because you get 100 days of jail time with the caveat of having to turn over smokey to the authorities or the mc can straight up get themselves killed and put their mom in serious danger. It's funny because if you pick not to involve yourself in street racing Mc's life is relatively mundane and peaceful and makes it through high school while other characters like Lakeem dies from not being to pay his debt and Amaya becomes a criminal.Matthias on the other hand ends up on the straight and narrow and out of trouble, but because the main draw of the IF is street racing you kind of have to indulge in it to play the story or it's an early ending otherwise
