What worked for me is using the console but first you need to inspect the elements of the game then you can use the console immediately and normally like usual

Just make sure trying to inspect the game by pressing in the centre of the page and not to inspect the outside area of the website

Oh yeah you can it's the arrow sign in the upper left corner you need to press it and it will become blue

Oh yeah it works on twine games too like "tears of tianchao" and "superstition series" and "Disenchanted" or "tale of crowns"

You inspect the game then go to console and type this command "SugarCube.State.variables" and press enter (just make sure you write the command correctly with capital and small letters) after that you will have a list of changeable stats and variables like for example combat magic charisma etc

I tried this in Kiwi browser:
1- I ticked the desktop site ️
2- Then run the game
3- Now you can see the three dots, up right, click Dev tools
4- Now click the arrow, its up left
5- Go in the game click next
6- Go again in dev tools, in console:
stats.statname=
7- You will see the variables
8- Bam happy cheating
