I just want to see how true this list of signs are. Based on my experience, most of it is unfortunately true 😔

What IF's do you think will never be completed? I will start first, the first fics that comes to mind are The Abyssal and The Sword of Rhivenia. I feel like those two would never be completed as much as I wanted to

Haven't read the post but yeah i think most IF won't be completed. Just like most fanfics (I like fanfics).

That's why i was skeptical with twc when sera (I think that's what the author go by? Cmiiw) planned to have 7 books for it. But it seems like it's going fine so that's nice

Despite my skepticism with most wip, i think it's nice that authors shares their wip as they write though, rather than keeping the story locked in their basement/document folder for 10 years, only for it to never see the light of day because they end up never finishing it (thus can't publish). I wouldn't have been able to read stories like fallen hero, tale of crowns, or for whose majesty otherwise haha

I agree with 1-6 although I'm confused a little at the last one ngl. I haven't really read anything like that so that's probably why. I heavily agree with the worldbuilding part, because why am I getting a compendium for a game that will 1) not likely be that big to even warrant this much information stuffed into it and 2) only mentions most of the information a few times only to never be referenced again? Bonus points if they post worldbuilding posts on tumblr. It just reads they have more fun with building the world surrounding the story rather than the story itself. Which.. honestly fair.

But yeah half of these wips are gonna go on the accursed year long hiatus until it becomes an eternal one. I'm just glad my favorites are going strong.
