You should try using Microsoft Edge's translator instead. I used it a few times and never had a problem with it.

I tried to use the Google Translate plug-in of Firefox to temporarily solve the problem. I don’t know if it is a bug after the Google Translate update, or it may be a problem with my browser. I hope someone else can test it. . .

I'll try to use the translator later when I get home to see if it's working. I don't use it a lot, I prefer just reading with a dictionary open when I have problems understanding a specific word or just googling what it means.
