Same issue as described in my other comment but for posterity's sake: the figures/numbers entered via the mod menu do not change anything. It remains the same and the mod menu doesn't return you to the story but loops the menu until you manually press the back buttons either at the top left hand corner on the game bar, or on your phone's device to exit.
Right. You need to continue to the next page for it to register visually.

You have a option your sibling gives you a person to find that can give you medicine to turn your kid into a life mage but maje sure to have good stats or high stats
