Book 2 will take a lot of time skips decades of time skips between arcs and chapters so yeah while Mao has another 150 years of prime he will overall die in another 250 years if he doesn't do anything about it. If he doesn't die of old age in book 2 then early book 4 for sure.

I remember somewhere you said that Yang is like a 1000 and wanted to know how long can powerful cultivators live and if there are any options like those elixirs for prolonging it.
Also I remember that you said that Kitsune's live longer than weak cultivators anyway so another question is how long do the different races live as well as what is the lifespan for every Aura Pressure class.
Like from 100-1000 AP is it like 200 years and 1000-2000 250 years and so on or is it different?

If you gain ap early on in your life and a good amount it gets the biggest boost it is why great talents get inherit bigger advantage and as you keep gaining ap for the most your lifespan grows like if Mao gets to cultivate in Azuma honsha or breaks his ml his lifespan will start growing again as he hasn't started his death spital and it wouldn't start for another 150 years atleast.
Basically as long as your death sprial doesn't start you can increase your lifespan to the higher ends.
As for direct numbers there aren't any there are ranges more like.
What I can tell you is the top tiers even without any longevity elixirs and techs to increase lifespans have atleast 1000 years of prime alone and then another 600+ years of slowly deteriorating as they enter their death spiral ofcourse even they can make their prime last longer and the bigger the lifespan the longer the death spiral.
Yang is 1200 years old and does look physically atleast a bit out of prime but having so Much resources and other things his strength wouldn't be getting less as it is barely out of prime and we don't know about other stuff he is doing.
So usually you can say a top tier has atleast a 1000 years of prime and 1500-1600 Total lifespan ofcourse you can stretch it to 2500.
While some exceptions like the oldest dude we have is 3700 years old in Archon he has the best longevity method and he looks old as hell too for the most part is out of his prime can't tell more about him without revealing too much plot.
It is also why best to ascend if you can when you are 1000+ but yeah if you had techs and used enough methods to make your prime also last longer like 1500+ then sure spend all that on the planet but you should ascend if you can once you are the far end of your prime also it is looked down on if someone Ascends after their prime tho ofcourse Ascending does fix that but still in the realm of all the champions from throughout the universe they are bound to be that competitive.
All in all top tiers almost never die of old age they either perish fighting or they Ascend.
