Yeah hero is literally a hero of old tales lol while muscular is a giant among men.
So in any other story hero would be the muscular option.
As for hero mido he basically becomes as big as the Muscular of other styles.
There is a reason anyways why muscular and hero has a lot of overlap both are super attractive though hero is more preferred by most women.

Directly with him? No, there isn't. But depending on your relationship with him you can ally or be an enemy of the Waverunner Sect, and even ask favors out of him.
I do love the fact that he comes in aurafarming like damn you may keep your life and everyone's so afraid of him, but the only thing he has going for him besides his noble status is his Noble Mask which only gives him 4000 AP.
I haven't played a normal run and always go for JDF to be honest so idk if it's possible to minmax to 4k ap by that point, but goddamn it was so satisfying when I chose to catch his hand and it was just like yeah no, we not slapping anyone lil bro.
It's very satisfying to see all this growth finally reaching a respectable point where the only ones who could rival you are Outer Province Sectmasters and upwards from that. No more random bums.

Even Rin can one shot 3 guys with a single attack and short Qing by simply throwing a sword at him only using 3 power cores (mind you she has 8). Bo is a bum!
