But im sorry at this stage of poma with so many changes to the combat system and the way you get your strength it is imho undeniable that aura clash combat system is way better. This is an IF and the amount of variety and player agency you can have in AC fights is incredible. Compared to Poma where, until recently, every fight had you get beaten the shite out of despite you passing all your checks only to pull of a victory that your rivals would achieve with no effort. But to each their own I guess. I just cant see how at this stage anyone can like Pomas fights more than AC's

So can someone explain transformations to me. Like is Asura really exclusive to John Auraclash? Do other styles have such exclusive transformations? Are there more freestyle transformations other then limitbreaker?
No they don't for the most part stock transformations are good and you refine them there are other freestyle transformations ofcourse but limitbreaker stands out for it's combat prowess and effectiveness there.
As for Asura it is part of the mido path you will find out more as game progresses and yeah mc is the only one who has it atleast in the last 4000 years.
For example MC's Titan form is 60 ft rn while kaito's titan is 300+ft so a lot of progression for each transformations it's just that Asura will be unique and have more special content.
Speaking of transformation, is Akumatization, the thing Scholar Taio was about to do before best girl Kosuke cuffed him, a distinct thing of its own or is it just another Transformation? And can we learn it in the future?
There were plans to later give Demonic bros their transformation likely book 2 tho and it is supposed to actually be evil transformation to really embody the point I bet it would locked behind corruption level and low personality stats.So I assume it will be there since anon hasn't said anything about not adding it.

It's part of the mido path but something that was lost and there hasn't been on in 4000 years the lore and explanations around it will be later parts of book 1 and book 2.
But overall mc hit it by luck or mistake technically both you see the Asura transformation is basically taking mido's mindset to the absolute Asura isn't evil or good it's only purpose is to fight and keep getting stronger and fight stronger and stronger opponents but since the path was lost and Titan exists people who get proper training for mido they are taught about how to access Titan and since they focus on that they have no shot of getting the Asura path.Mc not having proper basics down and also lack of knowledge on how transformations work allowed him to get access to Asura.
So if the mido mc trying to learn transformations even with less knowledge he would be trying for Titan and learning about it in that case he wouldn't get Asura but since mc had no knowledge for that he was able to get access to Asura.
In a way it's the gate foundation final gift.Mc would be able to learn titan on his own later if he would chase transformations with the knowledge available but Asura would be lost.

So question, is there any lore or canonical reason in-setting as to why the Midorikatai "Titan" transformation for a Monkey Yokai is different from other races?
Cause I've played other Yokai races and none of them have any special giant animal transformation like the monkey one, and that also makes me wonder if it's possible for other races to emulate or become such a thing, like evolving or creating unique versions of the transformation themselves.

Nah it was because of wanting to give great ape really he loves DBZ. Other yokais were supposed to have unique ones too but he didn't write them it's in cut content
he would hate Titan like soul domain Titan would have like 6 versions.
