Most likely yes. We know that Kitsune get more tails as they get more powerful, see; The Performer and her Akuma Lord lookalike, who have like 6 tails if I'm not mistaken. They also don't get Spiritbrands as they are straight up already Spirits.

Also, by the end of the series, we'll be ascending, and there's no way a Kitsune Deity isn't going to rock the Nine-tailed look

Mitsuka has like 3 or 4 tails iirc, and yeah, Black Flower has like 6 or 7. I very distinctly remember Black Flower having at least 2 more than Mitsuka because the rhythm of the tails being 'off' is how you see through her disguise.

Ah, yes. Finally, I can use my reverse rascism technique that I haven't used since the CoG era by becoming a marginalized literally white Oni rather than the beta pink skinned Lunargoth

I also had a thought, what happens if you as an Oni already had the Devil Tail but then got purified by the Temple later? Would it dissapear or stay? If this is already addressed in the game by a special event, then I apologize for not knowing. I never do Demon runs where I just stop mid through, its either full on Demon or no corruption at all

To be fair, Fang is still in the game, it's just that her mission is being postponed, while Tigress (oh my heart, how sad) has basically been forgotten.
