Why hasn't the nation ( New Yomjin) where that cat-girl lives been destroyed yet? I know they have a way to use "corrupt qi" without becoming corrupted themselves, but considering how much the other nations HATE that sort of thing, I’d expect them to be wiped out without a second thought.

And theoretically, if someone discovered a way to mimic—even partially—other forms of demonic cultivation (blood cultivation, for instance) without becoming corrupted, how frowned upon would that be?

Probably just not worth the effort - it's not like they are on a campaign to kidnap half the population of the inner kingdoms for their necromantic practices.

And about mimicking - from what we understand it's just not possible to not get corrupted, since it works against the fundamental laws laid down by the heavens, you are pretty much ****ed for life if you touch demonic stuff even a little, everyone would want to kill you and no ascension is possible.

A matter of balance, really. It would be stupid to launch an offensive war against a group that can raise the dead. At the same time, they're not really a threat to the empire since their abilities get hard-countered by the priests, so they can't exactly go on the offensive either. So neither party has anything to gain and everything to lose; it's better to just leave each other alone.

You can copy the blood crystals of Scholar Tao if you use the boss talisman, but idk if you get to use the ability or if it affects your corruption or how it's viewed. Like Velirana said, though, it's probably impossible to not get corrupted, but if Anon ever does give us a loophole, it will be for Blood cultivation. Have us go full ATLA, where it can only be used with a full moon or something.

They're the best demonic cultivator sniffer around. It's either use them to sniff out actual demonic cultivator, or lose them as a tool, reducing your ability to track down actual demonic cultivators and perhaps enhancing demonic cultivators ability to remain undetected since you've now pushed them to their side.

Besides, going to war against them would be hell. Sure, they'll probably gets decimated in open battle, but outside the battlefield they're going to make your life hell. Have fun doubting everyone you knew since they have skinwalking shinobis. And it'd be practically impossible to know if you've managed to completely wipe them out.

Umm... You kinda made the New Yomi(or whatever the hell they're called) people sound a lot like the Shinobis from the Cursed land in the empire.

Cursed Land: stealthy ninjas who replace your entire family and friends, only to kill you in your sleep after 15 years (or they’ll just stab you in the back the moment you look away).

New Yomi: Mwahahaha! YOUR SOUL IS MINE, AND I’M GOING TO SEND MY BOYFRIEND TO HELL WHILE HAVING WILD *** WITH ANOTHER GUY (AND I PUT PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA).

Both are evil, but they are different kinds of evil (and both are amazing).

Not worth it and also empire itself have their own issues the Unity of rasen comes if they are attacked or insulted which no one dares to but other than that we already know the rivalry between inner kingdoms itself and other powerhouses also the inner Kingdoms on their own would be powerful countries so it's hard to manage.
So multiple reasons for not doing it
But the biggest one is Rasen's own rivalries now if new yomi dared to even take a part of outer land then there would be war and there would be no more of new yomi left after it and while the war would be at best a mid difficult win for Rasen still a lot of powerful people will still die it's why no one wants a war so while Rasen simply has the largest number of powerful folks but still too much death for no reason makes it undesirable.
But yeah a United Rasen wrecks any nation and even the biggest hells it's just that a United Rasen needs someone to start conflict with Rasen and no one openly dares to.
At most it is just pirates doing pirate sh*t around the coastal areas of the most outer areas of outer lands and then rasen doing it back and also murking their pirates.

Akakiru and blacksmith
Kurokonton and merchant
Midroikatai and trapper
Aoyu is all about balance so it doesn’t have any synergy

But honestly, the synergy is so minor it shouldn’t be a main factor in deciding your background and style.

Are there any additional scenes with her after the graveyard encounter? I always sacrificed her for the Dead Mountain Glaive technique (Anon, please let me get that technique without sacrificing the goth baddie...), so I never know.
