I love Jin so much man, the Bat Fan sequence had me in ****ing tears. He really is our brother, bumbling through lethal **** with hardass luck.
Dragon Nest makes more sense, you just passively get stronger forever.
Also what I went with, best to get it early no? +5 Chi is a neat bonus.
I got dragons nest. I initially debated getting yin weaving but I found dragons nest more appealing plus my combination of light and water works just fine as is. Light has so many events relating to speed and illusions and water does way more than it lets on. Five extra chi points plus gaining ap by simply existing along with having buffers barrier from earlier in the game which also gives you an AP boost overtime was worth it.
Side note but I love how having jade chi if you get the jade lotus foundation allows you to bypass the restrictions to triggering the godhand transformation on the Aoyusumu route.
Jade dragons just win by existing. I'm hunting down and perma killing these dudes in my evil run for certain.

Speaking of, I wonder why we lack the journal pages of some relevant characters? I kind of wanted to see the top 5 and maybe see the siblings' thoughts and worries about MC having to deal with them. Maybe a line or two about Daichi eating his dust in the rabbit trial lol

Did something break the snake trial? Because I can't seem to succeed at it sometimes.
It should only take 2 alchemy for me to succeed, right?
Maybe there's some manner of randomness to it? I don't see why I auto fail though.

Probably it depends of the master you take. I don't know if it's a bug or intended, but by selecting Eldra my primary check was 2 too with a special event of 4 alchemy where you can get a extra point in the snake trial by literally creating a new antidote.
When playing with the bone/mystic archons the primary alchemy check indeed was 4 without the special scene. I don't know if it's intended though. Tsk tsk, these lazy dragons always being benefited.
Another couple errors I noticed weren't fixed.
