Because of no gay romance lol they didn't even try hiding the reason lol.They don't give two shits about AC discord that was the only thing they could do about anon lol.In the end they just wanted to do anything they could possibly do because anon said he wouldn't write gay romance.
Either way it is for the better.

It was suppose to, then the engine breaking bugs needed to be addressed when the game was moved to twine and that took 2 weeks to resolve. Anon is currently writing up a storm but it's also the festive season. It's more likely we will see an update closer to the end of January but no dates have been confirmed at present.

Nah not really a goal more of a try ,we are either halfway through the update if we are getting a smaller update or 1/4th if we are getting a full chapter
Rn the update is 60k words so either we get 100k+ update or a large full chapter 200k+ words update which obviously will take more time.

Honestly I prefer large chapters makes it more worth it for the effort to give it a read
 
I'm at 70k words and have 3 full-writing days planned this week which is a record-breaker so I'm hopeful. Currently too many of the words are spent on branching for a big choice where you decide between 3 mentors, so I don't want to drop the update until it merges, but by then I'd be tempted to get to the end of the chapter where it's far more juicy. We might end up with another whole-chapter release in March/April after all.

My hypothesis on the mentorship was one mentor each for the different styles, guess I was a lil bit off😅

Very cool anon, whole chapters are great!
 
I'm just hoping that we get to at least get updates (maybe along with the new chapter) for the missing scenes from chapter 8 where we can visit Tian Fang and Desdemona in the city, and that one other scene where the MC is on a ship with Fang just before the trial where we can initiate romance with her.
