There's another way of increasing barrier knowledge during the dragon trial but you have to meet Angelo at the mountain shrine and choose a certain option to trigger it. I've done the latter two, and I remember seeing it a few times before. Still I get the barrier knowledge 5 check failed.
+2 Barrier knowledge in Leona mission. +1 in Guiren's(2 if you're Kurokonton). +1 in Desdemona mission if you already have at least 3-4 barrier knowledge to pass the check(Create a barrier between the two groups). +1 default in the Rabbit trial when the Akuma Lords cast their Soul-Domain. +1 in the Dragon Trial helping Angelo as the friend above pointed. +1 in chapter 9 studying the "gravity" effect over the Man-Bull-Some bullshit...etc.
Probably there are others I forgot, but the main ones are these +2 with Leona, +1(2 if Kurokonton) with Guiren, +1 in the Rabbit trial and +1 with Desdemona.
What test is he referring to? I don't remember seeing a barrier test of level 5.
And a question for anyone: what is better, the combination of water + fire or water + ice?

Also as for Eldra killing the Dragon Prince with white tiger chi well that happens because she keeps an eye on her disciple she actually cares about her disciples and even people in general it also happens on the husband route if you don't pick her as the master she would help the mc in other routes if she kept the eyes on you but she would be busy with other stuff.
Also for anyone wondering how much ap the Dp would have atleast 15k+ ap and with a cap of 22k ap because of Shard dome he inherits though I suspect he is like 17k at best he was a new dp and got no diffed by Eldra she had no damage on her.
Also archon has rankings like Eldra being S class archon there are atleast 3-4 more S class Archons
The other two Archons
Kaito and Yang are both A class Archona top of A class.
Some Exalts can be S class level too an exalt always atleast are peak of A class level tho ofcourse they aren't Archons but comparing power category
Divine general is also S class level.
