Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

Without fuel foundation Jack is definitely gonna be cracking more than the MC's eggs in the re-match, I just don't see the MC winning against Jack in the Dragon trial without fuel foundation and I don't think MC can win again against Jack without fuel foundation either.
My friend, you can be:
1) A pseudo-JDF with one of the strongest sources of Chi in this world(Jade Chi, probably on par with the White Tiger Chi) & three elements.
2) A literal Immortal(Yes, literal) with the Flayed God foundation.
3) Able to change your combat cores and skills at will during a fight, grating nearly unlimited flexibility to pass all checks.
4) If this isn't enough you can delve into corrupt cultivation, paralyze someone by blood and implode then. Dry they life-force. Destroy their soul/spirit...etc

Add the fact that Thunderfaller already has full access to his transformations, you still don't believe Thunderfaller can win without the Fuel Foundation?

Is limb healing in this universe a lot more difficult than in Poma? As far as I know Guiren is still missing an arm, and people treat losing a limb as a big deal.

But I know we've survived falling off a cliff as a mortal with a healing elixir (I know it's effect was greater because of that) and also survived Jack's meteor by regeneration provided by our foundation.

It just seems strange with how much healing is available in universe.

You just know that Jack rematch will have some pretty insanely high checks. Sakura's fight already has some pretty high checks. Beating jack after his whole talk of us being bland and original without fuel foundation and in my default MC's case currently with jade chi even when it is a slightly nerfed version will be so satisfying.Would like to put hands on Goro first though.

Speaking of default MC, mortal mode is pretty funny with the increased check difficulties, since it either promotes dumping agility or save scumming.

Like my MC is pretty tough but I can imagine he genuinely has no clue what's going on in a fight half the time because he has 3 agility and can't see ****.

I mean the MC grows back teeth no problem. You can rip one out to escape from prison and the MC treats it like a minor annoyance.

I doubt Misuka will be a "full" romance indeed considering Anon already said in the discord that a Kitsune romance is unlikely.
Also Misuka let her objective very clear saying she was there to drain our chi, dammed fox spirit... Thankfully I'm a disciple of Taio, the scholar, so obviously I shrugged that ***** off and studied her Soul Domain for a extra Barrier Knowledge.
Going back to speak about Misuka, I wonder if high Hand-seals & Barrier Knowledge Thunderfaller will be able to replicate this type of pocket realm without Kiihakai since it's tied to Misuka's spirit nature rather than the Kiihakai style.
Maybe non-Kitsune/Oni MCs could use the Wight(Wind-Blade Spirit from Guarded Blossom) to replicate it?

nahh that sh*t broke our cores man wdym it;s good 😭

but yeah advancing in life or death situations is really cool, too bad that also means anyone with a gate can break your cores and cripple you

I don't think it's anywhere close to being that easy to break our cores. It happened with Jack because we were fighting way above our Weight class in terms of AP.

You know, I was led to believe that we'd be trying to subdue and kidnap Big Zhi while being coreless since that's the price for the help, but it seems like that plot thread just get discarded and changed to subduing Brass Tiger.

We probably will still need to do it, but I doubt it'll be through fighting him since Big Zhu surely isn't stupid enough to accept a challenge.

Well, the trials are still ongoing. We were supposed to snatch him when he fails but maybe he hasn't yet?

I do believe that plot thread is gone tho, lol.

I keep finding it funny how Leona's apparent weakness is just... genuine love.

That scene if you pick to go with Leona when you're still recovering your cores somehow stuck with me. Girl fell HARD.
Really? I thought it was strange as hell. Like, it takes a bedtime story for Leona to see you in a different light? I was genuinely confused.

PS: I think she doesn't even bring out the handseal bed if you offer to read yourself. Which makes the scene even more out of place.

I have a question. It's said that a kitsune can gain a tail each time it turns 100 years old or gains a lot of aura, but how much aura (AP) would theoretically be needed to obtain a tail (if we did it the right way)? And does each tail have the same cost, or do they become proportionally more expensive each time?

Apparently you just need magical hand wraps, who knew.

Maybe it happens later? in my run because I got the steel thread alliance my MC says he will have them do it.
