You know I like Zhao Yang's abilities but dislike the fact he gives you a standard foundation all warriors use. Meanwhile both Kaito and Eldra give you a unique one. But Kaito's skills are so ***, aside from explosive cores. Conquerors aura is worthless because it just lowers damage for the foundation that doesn't care about damage, and weight training nerfs you too much and doesn't even make weighted clothing optional!

Honestly the thing is that if we could pick two of them, then we could combine 100X weight with explosive cores, which has great synergy.

It REALLY will suck if we're only allowed to learn one of these for the rest of the book.

They feed so we'll into each other. Since you gain AP from surging cores and the 100X will heavily lower your stats.

But I agree that the 100X weight should remove the need for weighed clothing and on top of that should increase the core exp we get, since Kaito literally starts by telling us that mortal cores have no limits for those dedicated and with our foundation.

Yeah, I agree with this.

Both Zhao and Kaito don't really give much of anything that is impressive compared to Eldra, and what they have is lesser and very much **** compared to hers even if you are not on a JDF run, to the point that it's basically a no-brainer that you always have to pick her as a mentor all the time even if you are not JDF.

Like for real, even just the +1 to all skills and getting an additional element is already a whole lot better than what the other two can give you.

Yeah it is the least interesting ultimate of the three. Tame a beast? Really? That's supposed to be on the same wavelength as binding a spirit to your soul to call them whenever (Yuta and Rika energy) and reversing time?

I can already do that, you just need to steal an egg!

Tbh a strong spirit and strong beast has no difference infact a strong beast is better ut all depends on what you will be allowed to take but yeah for a mido user entire kaito's kit is redundant he is there to fill role of regen and the pet you choose if you aren't mido as both of these things are possible with mido.

I'm assuming I can't hide a beast in my pocket. But I should be able to hide my pet spirit whenever I want, since the technique is derived from shiroyaksa.

I also like the potential spirits we could get a lot more than potential beasts we could get I'm pretty sure. Sakura had some cool ones.

Also as I said, I don't feel like I need specialized training to tame something. Just free time. Just look at jayjay

Really depends man but it is a single summon so I am more interested for taming beast and if we can get some lion beast ,bear beast,white tiger beast(I have been asking this for 2 years from anon before the white tiger the creature was in the game) which will be op asf and just maul through most people like how some wild lands fighter with 15k+ ap have a 12k ap tiger behemoth lol Also if we can get white tiger pet the trolling potential I will name it "The White Tiger" lol I know Akuma bums gonna cry about it I will pay good money just for this reactivity with the name lol.

I would put money on it being weaker than mido pet but stronger than the bird we will get in mido pet in book 2 .Poor mido pet got post poned from chapter 7 to late book 1 and now to book 2.

If being a vessel for wind spirit counts as a seperate thing then that's like 3 extra possible elements. I mean even if the use is not direct, we may still get the ability to bound them to our soul domain as Kiihakai,allowing us to change it around.

Nah one spirit is taking your custom techs slot that is how it works you aren't Sakura who has a good shot of doing something like that after Zhao Yang heals her .

As for the mission Khan's dialogue says enough imo lol you knew what you were doing by saying it lol.But sure maybe mao will throw a 1000 shards on your face lol you should be having consequences for it if anything but I doubt Mao would know the reason so yeah payment from him makes sense.

My bad, was kinda confused about what custom techniques are. I see why it could be a bad choice. But still, I doubt getting a spirit would just be that, getting a spirit. It would probably include some extra benefits too which might make it worth it.

Yeah but he calls it a "mission" so you would assume a reward. He could have just said it's your punishment for trying to endanger not only a magistrate but someone from the noble caste which I assume would already be grounds for execution. Honestly this choice should have a honor/compassion check where you can first say- "The knowledge I have might endanger your life."

I agree either the spirit grows stronger or we can replace it's just that it will take a custom tech place and we can only hold one at a time.

It's a shame you can't send the info about Sakura's style to her father to get shards(He asked the magistrate for info on her daughter)and then later tell Sakura how her father also counts in the soul oath now. I mean he is already working with Akuma Lords so no moral conflict in doing it either.
