Exactly. Subtract 300 AP and that's still a solid 400 AP. That's around the level of strength these mooks who have trained far longer than them are in.

Cycling mean cycling shards for ap You are the mc tho you aren't getting side affects for cycling so many shards or it becoming too expensive only because it is the gameplay loop don't ever expect yourself to be hit by it but for others it gets too expensive and it isn't healthy at all.Plus mist warriors don't even do it till they reach a level where they can do whatever they want tho by that time it is so expensive that it is waste but again mc doesn't have that issue it is all because of gameplay loop other people grow by boring training each day and sometimes going on adventures mc instead is given a gameplay loop to get his AP

Compared to mc yeah that's what I am telling you lol Jack's base and knowledge is very strong because of mao teaching him everything he knows like all the knowledge I just talked about resources he doesn't get the elxiirs the extra money and stuff like that.A big part of why jack is so strong is because he knows what to do Mao has taught him all that my point was about resources only
Mc under Mao would be a terror tho ap wise he might have been the same no cycling shards but the knowledge the base and everything else would be great.

She did and mao is hating on her and also exaggerated it a bit if she cycled that much she would be dead what most likely happened is she has the best advancement elxiirs money can buy and consumed them to the limits along with cycling to the limit as in before it gets bad for her advancement elxiirs are working same as cycling shards but they are safer Obviously but still have the limits where you can just die lol.Also sakura has talent and is also quite smart it's just her nature and her being so busy that makes you think otherwise like Anon described her as a financial genius lol.

As you can see here Anon doesn't believe jack would be more than 4200 ap even with all the resources he didn't get them in the first place and again even if he did wouldn't matter for the rate of his growth.
So yeah Jack didn't get any special treatment mc or jin just assume really but Jack has a way bigger advantage that Anon points out from time to time having Mao as father meant he knew what to do always and given how high Mao's battle iq is it just helped way way more but without mc jack would never train hard enough and knowledge from mao and his own talent would carry him and make him strong sure a top 5 sure again but the lower end of top 5 and also he would accept it he is younger than other top 5 too while current jack post mc beating is a different person lol.
Again a mc under Mao would be a terror probably less ap then highest narration so like 2000 ap instead of 2500 but mc wouldn't get broken,and would have a normal foundation so stable and mc's knowledge and basics and actual mastery would be way higher so he would actually be stronger in a fight.This could have even happened if jack wasn't such a shitty kid lol and didn't almost die the second time he fought us.
Maybe there is an alternate reality like that for AC where mc gets to be the disciple normal way.

Yeah. I can't even remember how high the cost in shards was when I played a 4k AP JDF, must have been something like 500 shards for 20 AP at 5-6 Handseals. It's probably just not worth it at that point, even if you have the money to spare.

Man, going Herbalist in my Kiihakai run made me FEEL poor. Ended up with little money in the bank with how much I've been spending in the trials and before it, whereas in a Merchant run, I'd still have at least some shards in the bank getting some interest.
Though now I wonder, of the ship activities you can send retainers to, which one's the most lucrative? I know each one has their own unique event or bonus, but my greedy *** want bigger funds. I'd imagine Merchant work for Dou Nouhal would be one.

I've seen little reason not to salvage wrecks tbh, at least at the start. You can enchant your weapon for free + you can sell the remaining crates for silver that you convert at the bank.
I had a very healthy pocketbook as a herbalist kii though I'm not sure what you're doing to end up so poor. Remember to bet at the blood pits and the dice table after you do Leona's mission.

Something is up with him big time - it's not Young Master bullshit (That's Goro and Sakura). Heck, the entire reason he tries to best you up is because we are cycling Shards when Mao has expressly forbidden the Thunderfallers from doing that until they unlock their auras. So I will respect Jack - he's definitely put in the work and has the talent to back his behavior up.
I would not be surprised if Jack got the fire element by Mao chucking him into a volcano Heihachi style and expecting him to either survive or die.

10/10 potential is absurdly rare.
Even for 9/10 only goro and jack pass the scale for that talent level, brass tiger is no slouch but he is the normal among them with 8/10 talent the oldest and someone who was in stronger area so easier to get ap for him but yeah surviving there is rough and I guess that is why he needs that white tiger connection to have something special.Jack is jack , while goro has swapping powers along with being super talented.
But these three are the top of 3 their gen not counting our mc who at his best narration is also a 8/10 talent and as JDF a 11/10.
Sakura would have been a real contender but she is now someone who can only be powerful if We restore her and then the route of her becoming Yang's ward and then she will become an Conscript Archon in book 2
So MC's generation is pretty solid tbh
Most of the times someone like Tiger would be number 1 and by a good margin.
And plenty of top 20 people are solid around 2500 ap or more.
Anon also has plans to have some actual big talent like a 9 or even 10/10 who makes it to top 100 barely and will be an archon in book 2 like that talented kid being 16 years old so that person will shine in book 2.So we have a crazy strong generation.

Idk I have never had any problems with shards on my runs. Also I have done a merchant run before and I didn't feel that much of a difference.
Wait, only 6 people from thunderfall are left at best??? Didn't they have a bunch of disciples by the dragon trial? Don't tell me they all got owned by lack of AP or succumbed to poison.
Mao being used to inner kingdom standards and not being able to set proper targets for his students is pretty funny. It's such a shame if he only got 2 people to reach half progress in the trials trials though.
Since Bo has around 900+ AP in my playthrough, he's probably screwed the moment another combat trial pops up. Assuming everyone has reached 3000AP tho, we should have a good time flexing on everyone else from here.
