Slight correction, Mao is an Inner Kingdom man, he's straight from the Wild Lands.Jack had mao who is a outer area sect master not inner kingdom ( so average at best) he learnt more on the road and due to his humiliation than due to his dad
He's literally the most powerful Sect Master in Outer West.
Yeah, obviously, having a high AP doesn't make you some unkillable god.Hell Eldra kills the Akuma dragon lord so they are killable.
It just means you are strong and powerful, or rather, simply hard to kill. You can still die.
Anyways, Terki or whatever his bitchname was, he was the Akuma Bums' best asset.
As for the first part about genetics, having strong parents in lore doesn't mean you'll be strong automatically. You will only really have decent-to-good potential.
Same with both parents being strong, you'll have good-to-great potential.
The keyword is potential; it's still going to be your effort and skills that will seize it. If your parents are strong, they will have knowledge and teachings that will aid you, but it won't automatically make you a godman.
There's a reason for that, once you're an Archon, you aren't a member of the Outer Regions anymore. We would see so many legacy cases where sons or daughters of archons would be amazing in the trials with us. But I don't think it works like that.
If you have a Clan, they would move into the Inner Kingdom, making them Inner Kingdom citizens and disqualified from being Archons.
Archons are the Police of the Capital; they need to be neutral as much as possible. That's why Inners aren't allowed to join, their options are only becoming Exalt if they are strong enough or just stay in their Inner Kingdom Sects.
