Tbh I never got the "Kosuke is your spy and scout and that's how they'll stay relevant" angle. Spy? Maybe I could see - since having a high AP could interfere with spy work. But a scout? How is Kosuke a better scout than any of the more trained, faster, stronger disciples I will have under my command? Kosuke would be slow as **** and have way worse stats in stealth or perception since they aren't practicing techniques.

I can get Kosuke not being super combat focused, but I feel like that could have been done by just making them focus on spycraft and stealth-techniques, not by making them super weak and unmotivated to do any kind of training.

See this is why I prefer my Kosuke as a guy. Just two guys getting into different shenanigans and some of the banter you can have. Also I don't know if anon changed it, but before the game got ported if you sided with Qing that pirate against the merchant and where a FMC you could optionally choose to smash even when Qing doesn't technically do the deed because he just splatters all over instead and hands us a wad of cash for doing absolutely nothing. Writing that last part feels weird so yeah FMC has a whole line of guys and if I were male Kosuke I would just avoid any advances to protect my pride.

Male Kosuke should just end the relationship and try to stay friends maybe ask to smash every once in a while.

Better than being a damn cuck he can't even do **** or judge because he brings nothing to the table.

Kosuke looking like a bum is like - the baseline for a spy. Looking like a bum is not some special trait lol. If all it took was a laborer spy to get info on people an archon would actually care about then there would be a ton of laborer spies anyway. So Kosuke wouldn't even be that unique or that useful.

Unless Kosuke is secretly some cracked stealth genius that has like 10+ points in Stealth, deception and thievery by Book 2. Which I'd be fine with tbf.

Around 2,000 AP Thunderfaller can successfully flee from a whole squad of Inner Kingdom Samurais in broad daylight with only Darkness or Kurokonton adept. Kosuke very likely will have both.
As long as she isn't send to spy/scouter Shinobis that would brutally counter her, I imagine Kosuke can do well.

Also I really don't believe on that 2,000 hard cap for her. Nothing is impossible in Jianghu, even if I have to learn World Ritual myself and reset her cultivation to grant her a acceptable Zodiac Foundation(Since her actual foundation is absolute garbage and that influences talent too).

It really doesn't lol she will remain at 2/10 really, also no many things are impossible you are setting yourself up for disappointment really you have more of a shot to get Kosuke ascended via doing good deeds and then ascending and getting enough favour to ask for Kosuke to be ascended.

I quite don't understand this concept of Hard-cap based on personal talent. Her body simply can't support AP beyond 2,000 or she simply wouldn't train anymore?
If it's the latter then it'd be easily fixed.

But if it's the former then I quite don't understand. Wasn't talent supposed to be a indicative of how fast a person can grow rather than just a hard-cap? And the hard-cap supposed to be related to ML and the region where the MA is currently.
If it was a matter of ML & Talent working together I'd understand if Kosuke AP was limited to 2,000 in a Outer province, for example, where the 50% reduction hits at 800 and the 75% reduction at 1,200.
But Kosuke is changing to a Inner Kingdom Anyway(I don't know how good is a inner Kingdom but Guarded Blossom 50% Reduction starts at 1,200 and 75% at 1,800.)...

I mean, unless you're the most cruel person in history and set your clan in the cursed lands while you're absent training in Azuma Honsha, I doubt Shinobis would travel to like, the Mystic Lands or whatever just to specifically **** with your family. Besides, I imagine we and our clan will have the protection of the Archonate anyway.

If anything, if Kosuke can be a spy and get around defences that are meant to stop the likes of Cursed Shinobi, they are super talented. But apparently, that's entirely based off their natural talent which they don't bother training or honing. Because they're too lazy.

Apparently they are a beggar by choice and will continue living that lifestyle despite having opportunities to improve their situation.

They are constantly greedy and looking for ways to earn more cash, but don't put that money to any use in improving their situation or the lives of others.

I was more talking about Kosuke spying on others? I doubt Shinobi only operate within the Cursed Lands - if they are the stealth experts wouldn't their services be highly sought after all over the Inner Kingdoms?
