Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

Thinking about it, does anyone feel like Asura feels like it should be an Akakiru technique? I feel like getting more arms to wield more weapons would be a big bonus to the Crafting Skill. Plus, you could larp as Sukuna as a bonus.

Plus, all the other Styles have some unique varient down the line - Ao probably will get a Fallen Saint version of Godhand, you multiple versions of Soul Domain + the melee version, Kuro is all about stealing other techniques anyway, and I'm assuming Mido will probably get some varient of their transformation based on their Beast Affinity down the line + a pure human version (Titan).

Aka is kinda the only one that has a single schtick and no forseeable varient, no?

No? It is supposed to be a muscle bound body manipulation think of a physicality powerhouse it is based on Danavas types of Asura lorewise all they care about is fighting the strong.
And you are supposed to do this View attachment 1000418344.webp and look like this later on Asura from Asura wrath.
Asura is also supposed to dual wield handwraps it will be especially done for them the new handwraps this chapter was specially made for Asura dual welding also Asura doesn't give permanent dual wield so nah it is made for Mido for a reason.

As for Akakiru it has a thousand ways to use the blade as Eldra talks about it so that will be it's future. And possibly have something like a NOT-Bankai.

The screaming, rage incarnate technique? It feels like dual wielding is a convenient side effect for multiple arms, and the intended use is to beat the crap out of people. I think Mido is appropriate, though it is a shame other styles don't get their unique transformation

I was more going at it from the angle of "which Style benefits the most from having multiple arms" tbh. Not just porting the Asura transformation over to Aka - I should have been more clear, my bad.
I would say mido tbh all the best Akakiru users only wield one blade just like how Akakiru will later get the option to make something like a bankai for sacrificing dual wield.

Plus main gimmick of Asura is handwraps which is something no else can dual wield and yeah having multiple arms to punch stuff when you are so strong helps when another mido with similar ap and cores will attack you and you do the same those extra pair of arms are giving you twice as many hits.

But yeah there is a lot in store for Asura lorewise and also power evolution wise it is the most incomplete among all other transformation.

I'm curious, where is Limitbreaker on that scale?
It's unique enough as Jack,mc and only a few(creator and some others) have it lorewise it was created by a mido guy that's why it is so combat focused that said to me it feels obvious enough that limitbreaker will have evolutions for both jack and mc.

It is based on kaioken and ssj but more kaioken atleast for now like with all the surging and what not so I wouldn't be surprised to see limitbreaker going ssj route.

Also a mellowed out Friendly jack will likely have an option to share limitbreaker with mc in exchange for Asura so you both can go limitbreaker-Asura.But that is late book 2 content.

what do you mean by incomplete?

Wait how do I do that exactly
Fail the deception check against Mao after you defeated Bandit Taio.

It's an automatic check of... 2? during the scene where he ask you if you also shouted "Immortal Core Advancement!" during the fight. Fail it and he'll say to you that if anybody asked, you're not part of the Thunderball sect.

Then during the entry to Nanhou, when the clerk ask of your allegiance, pick the option where you represent yourself/your clan rather than the sect.

I love making Mao eats his word.

Would this Chapter 9 Jin be strong enough to defeat the 2nd Taio Scholar if he was in the MC's shoes during that event?

View attachment 37187
Nah, not even close.
Scholar Taio is 2,000 AP base at the very, very, very least. Then comes his Akumatization transformation. More experience, expertise, techniques...etc.
Now Bandit Taio would be brutalized by this Jin I imagine. Maybe even canon Jin with 700 AP and Wind Shugendo.

Anyway, this Jin still a end of chapter 3 MC' victim.
