I don't know if it's the absolute same for females but male mc is canonically wider than tall if their style is mido.

For sure but I expect it to happen by not just having an eight but reducing their scores somehow as well. ( Like Jack's score got lessened in dragon trail in our fight so he became 4th)
IMO that's the purpose of getting extra imperial score and farming Inner Kingdom favor, so that you can get 8 points on everything + the extra score propping you up to Top 1.
Pretty sure all male mido gets the same bodytype at some point in their lives (chapter 6 for mc) regardless of your chosen bodytype at the start, which is described as "perfectly proportional", so male mido mc ends up like mao/jack/kaito
If only we know exactly how much points does each Top 5 had. IIRC, the gap shouldn't be too big otherwise Jack wouldn't be a threat to Goro's ranking pre dragon trial.
Yeah, Mao said so to MC, and that's why i believe MC has a chance of getting top one
It's all way too close. All members of top 5 will be getting 7 or 8 in all trials. Jack losing 3 points went from being comfortably number 1 to number 4.
Unless we sabotage them or get to farm imperial favor later on it'll be rough beating Goro. I think they got a 7 in snake and 8 in stallion at worst.
I think in the trial that have the Wyrm we will be able to surpass goro, especially if you have the cinnabar crate
I believe that was the rat trial? I'm curious what the hell they'll need a 7000AP beast for lol. I'm assuming a stealth trial, which Goro should actually do fine at.
I bet Jack will try to fight a wyrm instead though.
Considering that the wyrm was a special order from the bladed lands, it will have something to do with honor, for sure. Not something goro has a lot of, if the fact that he sucker punched MC is any indicative
That is what I would image for the "short and stocky, like a builder" body type male MC lol, cause my mental image for them is that they look like a fantasy dwarf that looks like a ball of muscle.
Also, if the author does finally get to writing the varied body description and type scenes in the future (as well as description and reaction from other characters for those), then my first goal would definitely be to pick the "lean and petite" body type for a female MC, choose Midorikatai, and create a pint-sized cute bruiser that absolutely destroys everyone in their path with their bare hands while being shorter and smaller than everyone else.
Because the mental image of a tiny petite lady being the absolute strongest in terms of physical strength and unarmed combat is very funny and amusing.
A Rat isn't an animal very evocative of honor. Plus, how would the cinnabar help with such a trial? And how would that fit in the contestants of the Cursed Lands? How would this relate to being an archon in practice? Not every Archon is honorable.
I'd say this would be a test to measure how a contestant deals with a far stronger enemy in a situation they can't avoid them. In this case the wyrm is as strong as Mao, far dwarfing the contestants.

And then there are the JDF (Jade Dragon Foundation) MCs that some players play who are at the absolute bear minimum 6,500 - 7,000 AP at base, and way higher when min-maxed to the absolute peak, who would probably just charge straight towards the Wyrm, not even activating their transformation because it won't be needed, and then absolutely destroying it for the delicious soul treasure they can eat, lmao.
Meanwhile, everyone else is playing stealthy ninja game in order to avoid the Wyrm and play it smartly and sneakily, kek.
Foreman Gong did say that the cinnabar would be useful for the rat trial (since this wyrm is allergic to it), tho i have no idea how that will help. And yeah, it could be this for sure, since rats do tend to escape predators. And well, a good archon, in theory, should be honorable and compassionate, it do not mean they will be. Every trial is testing a quality of what archon should have. Since the bladed lands ordered the wyrm, i think this trial will have some relation with them
It's entirely possible to just kill the wyrm on that ship so I'm curious how that'll affect the rat trial
