You can by asking the prisoners to move cargo but you need a lot of perception. iirc the amount of loot you get from using that choice is 9 + perception so you need 6 perception if you're going for 15, or 8 perception if you're going for 17 for the free technique
All I can offer is the bigger games that blow me out of the water like the RPGs that are choice heavy and reactive, largely Owlcat's games (Rogue Trader for the smoothest, Pathfinder Kingmaker for the OG)

...is it really stealing? I figured they SHARE their power through like a joint pool, so they can each draw the total thing when needed hence Kagura and Goro being so freakishly strong.
Kagura being too strong is more about her being too old to be in the trials. And if the siblings had a shared pool Daichi would beat our ***

EDIT: Plus there's still the mystery of how Goro can seemingly use two separate styles this early on. Him and Kagura sharing their cultivation would explain it.
I honestly don't see how your shared pool theory works here. It's not like Kagura ever uses Kurokonton. With her Aura not breaking but simply disappearing when you meet Kagura, I'm pretty sure it's just Goro straight up borrowing and switching to hers.
Goro already has 3000+ AP, if they were sharing that'd put Kagura at like 2000, but we know she has around 5000+ from MC and Leona's reactions.
Now that I think about it, if they had a shared pool, even among only 2 of them, that results in 40kAP Goro in book 4 hahaha

We know that how exactly? From Kagura powering up? How do we know she wasn't already at least partially drawing power from Goro? How does that counter the idea Goro drew her power away from her?
Let's say she is at ~5000, Goro is at ~3000, and one or more of the mercenaries Leona hired was some inner kingdom guy with 4000. Now naturally Goro might feel threatened and try to crush this threat in the vaults, jumping his power from 3k to 8k by drawing from Kagura's power, who he thinks isn't fighting anyone currently. That leaves Kagura powerless so we get the jumping scene.
Now let's talk about the stealing theory the other guy described. If he has a way of stealing people's cores willy nilly why didn't he use it on Jack or MC already? Why didn't he use it on the contestants during the blockade to rapidly grow his power and dominate the trials? That's what doesn't make any sense here.

That would imply she's keeping Goro's power on her by default, it makes no sense. And if it was a 2way relationship, I think she could keep her Aura.
My friend, If Goro could reach 8k the trials would be done. Jack would be packing his bags because there's no way in a million years that guy is getting defeated.
I think that guy just chose a strange word for Kagura losing all her powers. As you can see I referred to it as switching or borrowing. As for why he can't steal other people's cores no clue lol. I suspect it's how he killed his dad tho. (allegedly) Like it only works on his bloodline thing?

No? She could be just drawing some of his power but using mostly hers. It could be anything really is my point. I'm only speculating it is pooling their cores together.
My man is extremely confident he can beat Jack's *** despite him being way stronger than him. If he had such a ridiculous ace up his sleeve it would explain a lot. Also you run into this exact same problem with the borrowing theory so I'm not sure what you're getting at here, again.

Indeed Goro uses Kurokonton. It's how he launches you. (But I think he makes everyone believe he only has Aoyusumu? I remember Mao saying he shouldn't have cursed chi) Kagura uses Aoyusumu, in fact you get to resist her sacred chi yourself if you have the same style.
Without limitbreaker he has one over Jack tbh and he didn't know about it. His attitude is why we want his *** beat anyway lol.

You do realise when I say borrow I mean entirely switching to it right? Daichi has like 1400AP, it would be a nerf even if he could switch with the dude. Also he might've just wanted to flex even if the robbers weren't strong. Dude is a poser at heart haha (Though it could just be he genuinely wants people to think he only has sacred chi)

So... He could be using Kagura's style as a decoy. I think that fits both theories well enough.

Let's say he borrows or as you say switches up with Kagura's 5k AP. Jack has 4200 AP as we know. That is a 800 AP difference without the transformation. And a 2k AP lead over Brass Tiger.
Now if he were to actually borrow her power that would still be 8k AP, which is what I meant by that.

The main reason the shared pool theory is so flexible is that a switch between their cores is also entirely possible. It would just need to be accorded beforehand between them.

It cannot be a shared pool because it it was the older and stronger Kagura would be the clan head. He's stealing her power presumably through some sort of bloodline technique
I mean that is assuming Kagura is even interested in being clan head. For all we know she'd just defer to her brother if given the choice.
