Anon changed this. Basically Mao's AP before was 6,000 and it changed to 7,000 to keep coherence. The MC's perspective hasn't changed, however, but we are wrong in that estimate.

Also Jack was being powered by the Heavenly gate too. In Normal circumstances I doubt the Limit-Breaker can push beyond 1,000(EX, 4,500 to 5,500 for example).

Oh? I didn't know that. Guess transformations even purely combat focused ones are a much smaller boost then I thought.

Well 1k isn't exactly small

That was because Mc has never watched Mao go all out even in base Mao has been 7000+ before the Jack fight while transformed jack was above 6200 ap meaning Mc can be unreliable narrator which is fine and happens he was also unreliable narrator about Jack's training

As for how much boost Jack would have regularly on his limitbreaker about slightly over 1000 so yeah by the time of Rat trial jack Maybe hits 6000 ap with limitbreaker again without a gate.

I wonder how much the differential between having an element aligning with a Heavenly Gate and having a Fuel Foundation is.

Jack had both elements aligning with that volcano (Fire, Earth) but a weaker MC with Fuel Foundation somewhat caught up to him.

Granted, we know the MC has a knack to using everything in his arsenal to win fights, from practical skills like athletics to random techniques he bought in a thrift shop at 2 AM for 50 dollars. Little man is constantly fighting against people above his weight and coming out on top.
 
As far as temporary boosts from transformations go limitbreaker, Asura and Reaper give the highest boost
Cursed eye gives the smallest.
Poor Titan is in limbo it should also be giving the most boost like those 3 but lol it is just Weird but it will have auto passes a lot of times

Also Kaito's Titan is over 300ft compared to MC's 50 ft mc will slowly grow his titan as time goes because of ap and also mastery.

As fuel foundation like mc with same elements as the gate not much jack was able to somewhat contend as in get as much chi as he wants to use that was his real boost while lore wise a fuel user had at the least double of your ap in it for normal mc.So same elements wouldn't change much for you you already get everything from a gate really.
 
Hearing the talks about the fuel foundation makes me really wish MC didn't reveal that it's gone so easily.

I want just one scene where we're inside a gate and people are really scared to approach us as we act like we still have the boost. Then the judges or Misuka tell everyone that we no longer have it and they all charge in.

Actually thinking about it. I want MC to get jumped, it's honestly been too long.

Well I guess the whole Sakura fight was us getting jumped.

I'm not sure I understand, does this mean that matching the Gate's element doesn't enhance your absorption if you don't have a Fuel Foundation? Or do you mean just MC doesn't get a boost from it specifically?

They must still think that the MC's cores are shattered and he's using White Tiger chi at this point.

I wonder if they'll demand an explanation for his suspiciously working cores later...

Even in that gate jack was nowhere near you your main advantage was double stats, healing, having endless chi

Jack on the other hand with right elements had more temp ap but it was a flat number and also it doesn't function like yours and it only happens towards the later half of the fight the real advantage for jack was endless supply of chi so he could use whatever moves he wanted.

Which means even if mc had the same elements as the gate it wouldn't matter much you would get some extra ap gain at best while the overall fight and structure would remain the same as fuel foundation already is buffing you so much so the correct gate thing only matters to someone who doesn't have fuel foundation.

It isn't legally speaking the official statement is one of the three archons fixed you lol even though it was due to Keiko asking but the very reason she took this path is because it is allowed.Archons can help promising prospects.
On another topic Keiko herself could have helped you with her family's resources as in all noble clans and top one sects of each inner kingdom have methods to fix the cores but Keiko directly helping you wouldn't be proper and would show too much open bias that's why it is done via Archons.So fixing in general isn't illegal.

I'll admit it, I'm really curious about if Reptile Yokai Mido can get a draconic transformation, but every time I attempt such a run I give up midway through. Just isn't clicking with me I guess.

I mean if he hasn't used the taming scroll yet, it wouldn't matter since he probably hasn't mastered leadership and attuned to a particuslr animal type.
