By the way, do you remember if you can stack a weighted outfit like the Waverunner Armor with the lanternweaver weights? Like do you gain AP from both or does one get priority over the other?
Now I'm curious, considering that MC would eventually settle their family and manage their clan... Would there be some sort of clan management hub thing in the future? Likely not in the current book, but maybe in future books?
Not sure if plans have changed but back in the COG forum anon said clan management would be a thing. At least in terms of expansion.

Nah only 7 are left when JDF mc Exists the number was 12 which equates to completion of a cycle that is why there were 12 and about 5 left the pool of reincarnation.
Once Eldra and jdf mc leaves only 5 will be left in Total.

What's the significance of the number 12 in AC? Is this some zodiac thing, some AC lore, or is this something about Asian mythology?
As I said It means complete that's why a lot of things are 12 it is a complete cycle, harmony it's an Asian thing.The zodiac are 12 for that reason aswell because harmony and completion of cycle.
It doesn't currently, cause of how little they are used in the current update and because almost all the events tied to the foundations happen at the same time and are tied to the mentor variable rather than the foundation variable. In the base mod menu that I built on you can already select the 'special training' aspects from every foundation however, so you can get the abilities without getting the foundation itself.
I found a bug that's probably worth a fix. I'd appreciate if anyone can notify anon this might be a problem in earlier scenes.

I imagine this is because the game didn't give you a chance to place your element in the right spot in earlier game versions?
By the way, is anyone else surprised by how tame the trials have been so far? I remember back then thinking it'd be a whole ordeal trying to keep the twins alive. Doesn't help that everyone was going with that "thousands go in, hundreds go out" stuff. Yeah that's because they couldn't lift weights bro, everyone's fine. Not like we had any death reports other than the stallion trial and apparently no one from thunderfall even got that far in the trials lol.

I mean if to be fair we haven't gotten through half the trials yet. We've done 5 so far and there are 12 overall.
I think the reason why that is is because literally ALL under 25 in the outer west are required to participate in the trials. If the first 3 trials for example were more deadly then it'll leave a lot of the weaker people dead and cause a huge power gap in this generation of cultivators in the outer west, this honestly sounds like a political nightmare. They're probably trying to avoid it by filtering out all the weak ones first to make sure they won't get killed immediately and then in the other half of the trials we'll actually see some real ****.
It doesn't. More weighted clothing just means more weight stat. Do note that you need to wear both a weighted armor (either of the weighted clothing or waverunner armor is fine) and the lantern weights to reach the max bonus anyway.
One more note: if you choose Kaito as mentor and get the 100x weight, for some reason it only increase the weight stat by 2 BUT having it DOUBLES your weighted clothing AP gain.
The point is that it's simply not as dangerous as once claimed. Again, almost the entirety of our sect have already dropped out. One of the siblings can fail and be just fine, they're just not lethal enough to warrant all the fearmongering.
Power gap wouldn't be much anyway, everyone is under 25. Basically the beginning of their journey. Martial artists live for hundreds.
It's all outer lands not outer west has been since 2 years or so it was originally supposed to be only outer west when the game was new but yeah around 2 years ago anon changed it to all of outer lands.
Jack and mc represent outer west
Tiger represents outer north
Sakura represents outer east
Goro represents outer south
They are not it is simply because people don't have the knowledge about it lol.it only gets super dangerous for stronger folks the weakest get eliminated in the tiger trials itself that said Jack killed a few of the trialgoers when he dropped the meteor so yeah and few others problems during Dragon trials.
I don't blame the mc tho it is still very dangerous but no more dangerous till now than just going on missions apart from the Dragon trials shenanigans.
That said some of the further trials are indeed more dangerous.
