In any case Scholar Taio was pretty impressive in my view. Even with his soul disrupted & the blood clone technique maintaining him alive also disrupted after we started to absorb the Gates he still managed to go toe-to-toe against Gate amped Thunderfaller(2,000~2,500 AP I believe) and would have won in the end if not by "Kosuke". Besides the transformation on his sleeve.
Given he was described as "Thousands of AP" even in old lore when our current 20,000 was 10,000 I wouldn't find absurd he's something on the 3,000. Then comes his Akumatization. And then the absorption of a Heavenly & Artificial Gates. Then the whole army of Fiends that can even draw blood from Angelo/Leona.
If we didn't stopped this thing I honestly don't see any Sect without a outstanding master like Mao surviving this.

Yeah jack wasn't going all out there you know it wasn't something jack put serious effort in so yeah while they are around the same level that moment was just Angelo allowing it .it would take a serious jack to actually hit Angelo.
Doesn't make sense for me. If Scholar Taio was 2,000 pre disruption then he would be instantly erased the second Thunderfaller started to be Gate amped. But instead, he managed to stay evenly and even turn the table in the end.
Angelo is Aoyusumu and 4,000+ AP. And probably not a normal 4,000+ AP one. Even if Scholar Taio is 3,000 without disruption absorbing the gate and akumatized he would get his *** destroyed.
