He is indeed writing Angelo quest but companion quest aren't chapter 10 tho.
They would get eliminated either way and if they don't against all odds then they deserve to be a Archon
Is there any chance he'll release an update with this quest before chapter 10?
No that would be too small of an update we will atleast get part of chapter 10 even if Anon decides to not get the full chapter 10 update.

As soon as the game lets me i'm wiping everysingle member of the sect EXCEPT for Big Chu, dude can remain, and i'm feeling sorry for Big Zhu so maybe he'll stick around, everyone else will either go labour or die.
I can't believe i was playing Kitsune in the one single run when i tried to make it in the sect and somehow Mao still found a way to hate me just out of racism, i was laughing in my seat as i read "i wanted to give you 1 point and you pull this on me" like labourer really cannot score with Master Mao xD
Because actual archon materials who has Storm or Darkness chii will still find ways to feed on them.
+ It gives the public a taste that really the inner kingdoms are superior to a degree that cannot be mended
From the imperial standpoint, it makes sense that you might want some shrimps to make your sharks stand out even more
The comp weeds that out ,really all top 5 are the best possible talents available anytime and these are supposed to be the best of next gen for archonate apart from Sakura dropping all top talents will make it even top 50 are all great talented people who will cruise into the top 100 anyways as these 50 people according to Anon are already 2000 ap and above.
After that sure there can be some talent dip but in the end for the most part if there was a direct talent checker almost 90 people out of 100 would be the same again you have to remember sometimes even 8/10 talents are the best of that gen even if you count inner kingdom people ofcourse they aren't part of trials but telling you how talent works now the 9/10 talents and above are once again super rare you can have a gen without them.Most of the top tiers are made of 8/10 talents.
Now the 10 people at worst that might have missed in a pure talent check made it in means they deserve it the worst talent to make in would be like a 6/10 usually maybe a 5/10 if we actually do make it possible for bo to get in now a even a 5/10 in Azuma honsha and with archonate's vast resources has a shot at making the 8k which is like the weakest range for Archon though a good chunk of them usually are new Archons rather than someone who has stopped growing.
So all in all because best talents make in through this comp and if someone fails then they don't really deserve to make in also all the factors matter too so yeah while ap and talent matter the most all of the other things matters aswell not every Archon is a powerhouse some do way less field work and fighting.
Once again if some exceptional talent emerges after the trials let's say the next decade the archonate would scout and get him into the fold all of the top 5s would be scouted sooner or later if the trials weren't happening anytime soon.
So all in all the best always makes into the archonate it's just that there is a good amount of talent decline after the top guys so even with a talent only test you would get the same people for the most part.

Who do you all think will win this inevitable battle to determine the second strongest in the clan?
(Giving my opinion I believe Rin has more chances considering Shakengara can be summoned through the Shugendo Pact. And given both the twins will not be pass the 1,000 range in the end, Shakengara with its 2,100 AP probably will just roll over Jin).

This is the true end game. Determining the superior twin. Jin wins with the 2 ice spirits I slipped into his pocket right before the fight
Are you sure about Twins not passing 1000AP though? Jin is almost there.
As their big brother we must be impartial. Also maybe if the Wind Spirit posses Jin he can keep up with the 1v2.
I meant more they'll not pass too much this benchmark. Since apparently they'll be at 1,000 range in the end of the book so what I meant was something like, "They're not going to reach 1,500," for example. But I also believe they'll be a bit above 1,000... Maybe with these specific buffs.

Having the wind element overwritten entirely the Soul check to be the vessel of the Wind-Bladed Spirit. It also exudes a feeling of comradely if you have the Wind Element. Now regarding Rin, well she has the Earth Element, so I think it's possible for her to form a Shugendo pact since it doesn't involve nothing too risky. Maybe with Thunderfaller help, who knows.
