The main downside of Akakiru is that it makes all the fight scenes more immersion breaking because there's never a reason for the MC to punch someone instead of using a sword/weapon.
And it robs my ability to have a satisfying fist fight with Jack.
If Limitbreaker makes it so that your entire body is covered in Bladed Chi and your entire body becomes a sword, I'll be a lot more interested in an Akakiru playthrough.

We aoyu bros must stick together and I do agree with Akakiru seems the dullest to me but I can see it's appeal even when I would rather call upon the heavens and have my following as a saint than just answering every problem with a sword slash. Plus I just feel fighting jack with Akakiru style seems unsatisfying because jack is a brawler and the image of an Akakiru mc vs Jack going at doesn't do it for me.
I’m an Aoyusumu, but even so, I’d find it hilarious if an Akakiru simply ‘cut’ the prayers I was receiving.
That does beg the question, would cutting the prayers even stop it completely? I mean, just because you cut something doesn't always mean said cut is completely permanent, especially if we consider that it's trying to cut a concept. For all we know, the Akakiru practitioner is just trying to cut the equivalent of a river with a sword. Sure, you'd "cut" through it, but the water/prayers are still going.
Honestly, for all the coolness factor of cutting concepts, it feels more like the equivalent of the whole "nuh-uh I cut through your armor, sword, and shield" argument you'd find kids would use when they play pretend a fight.
Me boutta do a Yuji Itadori and use Kiihakai just to spam Black Flashes.
Barriers? Beams? Chi traps? Nah, I'ma use Kiihakai to punch harder.

A bit curious, but if you decide to spare the Lightbringer and not deal the killing blow, leaving it be to run away from you, does it result in any unique events or changes with Sakura later on?
Like because of the fact that she is the one to kill and harvest everything from it, her summon becomes stronger? Or she gets the Soul Treasure from the Lightbringer and make something unique out of it? Because that would be a pretty interesting thing to see.
I'm a sucker for choices in previous events influencing and changing stuff in the future that might potentially happen, as it makes playthroughs and various runs more fun and interesting.

I think that she doesn't get Lightbringer as a summon that way? Though I honestly can't recall, since I only have that as a guess, because I always kill the thing
Everything is the exact same except some minor dialogue changes.
I wonder what aoyu will do to a aka user that can make portals to redirect their very own attack to them or, better yet, open so many portals in a very short time to the point that counter any attack will be pratically useless, since you will not be able to stop them all. Cant wait to make everyone a cosplay of pincushions. You guys really have no idea how OP being able to slash space fabric is.
