Sorry if this was already asked about, but does anyone know how to get the Thunderfall technique? I noticed it's in the code so I just wanted to know how to get it legit.
You can't, not yet at least. And when it IS added, you'll need to meet at least 2 of 3 requirements to be able to do so (the only one of which I can remember off the top of my head being whether your style is Mido).
I want to say that I remember (maybe I am full of ****) the others being the elements Mao has, so Fire and Storm. Jack has his own, but he still is 2/3 like Mao, Mido/Fire.
Jack has a weaker variant of thunderfall and all other disciples who have it also has the weaker variant only our mc if he has mido,fire and storm will get the full potency version of thunderfall.
What's the difference between them? IIRC Jack's thunderfall seems to also has target lock and blitz his opponent effect.
Rin's kid will be just relative as they will have her husband's surname

Power difference matching all three makes it way more potent tech than only having two things so if jack had the same build as Mao the attack would be way stronger as I said it is the difference in potency of the attacks the mechanics remain the same.
Wait so if I can get this right: a good analogy would be if we had the same elements and build as Mao it would be as if we're taking an essay he wrote and just presenting it as ours
Where in if we copy it without the same build or with different elements it would be as if we're writing our own essay just copying it from Mao? Obviously very similar with the same idea and all but not as good?
No the tech remains the same since it needs to be taught lol mao will teach you and your potency of the tech depends on if you have all the right things.
Since others don't their version will be inferior only the mc who has mido,fire and storm combo will have full potency thunderfall
Thunderfall is a top tier tech since mao is genius at this stuff he was able to make this from scratch teaching things and passing it on is way easier than making anything.
Yes that is what a custom tech is Mao's custom tech is thunderfall since he made it other people learning it now has it as a normal tech whatever you create will be a custom tech you can only have two custom techs that said custom techs aren't always something new and can be made it do things you cannot it's basically two space to fill.
Book 2 stuff anyways you aren't there in power right now let alone Mastery.
Jack version doesn't even need to be countered since it isn't that powerful mc who is weaker than him cab survive it.
While if mc learns the full potent version of it the move will be perfect crippler since it doesn't defeat or just kill people it ruins cultivation by breaking cores.
So the full variant of thunderfall the mao one or the one certain type of mc can get don't have a counter the opponent either needs to be way stronger than the user or simply not be caught by the lock that the move puts because once it is locked you are cooked unless you are way more powerful or just put all the cores into fortitude and still this would still f*ck you up.
So either be way stronger than the opponent or don't get caught in the first place again this is for the Mao version of it or the true version.Jack's version ain't all that it's still good and is a finisher but compared to the real deal it pales in comparison so other MC's can get a good move while a certain mc combo will get a stupidly good finisher which will only be better the stronger mc gets.

I remember a little while ago it was said here we might get a chance to make our own custom tech next chapter or is that not a thing anymore?
Regardless, as iconic as it'll be clashing our own custom tech with Jack's version of Thunderfall, I'm 100% going to use Thunderfall myself while having fire and storm elements just to clown on him when the choice comes up.

No it wasn't a thing at all if you make a custom tech now it will be a*s anyways since we aren't quite there in terms of mastering things also the talk was about how Yang was saying a non Kiihakai mc would need custom tech for the tech Yang was using and it would be a waste as you would waste a precious place in your soul for it as for jack he will likely make a new custom tech based on principles from thunderfall in book 2 since his version isn't anywhere near his father's version.
As for Mido,fire and storm mc getting the full version of the tech will be funny when we out power Jack outright when he uses his thunderfall since the power gap would be made null because of the potency difference.
Catching up to the past couple of pages has me curious because I've never played as a male MC.
Are scenes fade-to-black? Do you guys get blueballed randomly sometimes? Honestly I can hadle fade-to-black I can't take being blue-balled by some BS reason from Angelo again. Last time a toad interrupted and my MC ran out like an idiot

Worst offender for blueballing Male MC is still Tian Fang, mostly because her scene is locked behind her quest that hasn't been written yet.
