Oh...well! We sure have some high expectations for the roc don't we? 😅

(That thing won't even surpass 5k in AP)
Becoming a wild god is essentially failing in this universe, no? Even though it's basically the peak strength you'd achive on the planet, it makes me feel sort of sad for our Roc.

And getting a high tier retainer through the Roc would've been cool, but I guess at that point you might as well say that for all future animal companions.

Specifically, it's only animals with tails that can become yokai. Birds may or may not be able to advance into yokai, depending or whether or not Anon counts 'tailfeathers' as 'tails', but even if not, I think they could advance into another Beast form with a tail, and then from there advance into a yokai.

Birds can become yokai in the setting??? Was that ever mentioned before?

I thought there were only 5 canonical yokai types?
There was a female Badger Yokai mentioned once, so its not just the five types.

I think a Cockatrice, with a bird body and seprent tail would be fitting. Though I doubt a bird needs to become such a weird creature to become a Yokai, there's no way Anon's going to skip on the opportunity of making a Phoenix Yokai, as the fenghuang is very essential in Chinese mythology, much like how Loong (Dragons) are

So wait, you're telling us that giraffe and kangaroo yokai is possible?

How do I increase the chances of the fishing trip increasing retainer strength, I've been save scumming for 5 minutes and it's not yielding anything. Do I have to have a certain amount of Retainers or have Combat/Junkships?

I can't be sure (I can but I'm writing instead), but I *think* I set it to run the results way earlier than it shows them, to make savescummers like myself suffer unimaginable pain

Nevermind dude, I'm mistaken. I didn't know that it doesn't need to be equipped. I thought it was an accessory.

Anyway, now that I've gotten God's attention, please address the elephant in the room and fix the Walking Dragon Technique, it doen't grant any free cores when you get it, despite the game telling you it does.

Yeah, I figured it out immediately. So I just save scummed on one earlier choice and that worked.

(On a serious note, the engine fixes for ch10 seem to fix it)

I've noticed that Kiihakai seems to have weirdly draconic themes, like the Dragon Fist Technique, which literally says that it uses drcaonic power, not that it just looks like a dragon. Say, is Kiihakai the 'intended' route for Reptile Yokai who wants to become a Dragon?

I mean, I prefer Mido so I can become a giant Dragon, but if the Titan transformation there is more like Godzilla, I'll probably choose Kiihakai

The Fire element too, but this is less so since I suppose its a given that fire is associated with Dragons.

...Even though Eastern Dragons are actually fish that control the weather, but since there are Drakes and such, who breathe fire naturally, I guess fire is universal among Dragons
