What do you need a mod for? There are saves and everything, and also for everything else, just use console commands
Never mind what I posted, Just checked the Mod Wip thread and you have a comment on the latest mod release of Aura Clash.
So was there any significant update after that?

Every big update will change the game, only when the game is finished will we really know what's best (metawise).

There is some stuff that's happening in the game now, and before the book is even finished, and we won't know the consequences of it until book 2, lmao.
But even so, if you're talking about the gameplay meta, like the good ol' alchemy bias or the current one, which I can't even remember. They'll be removed or debuffed.
I can't remember when, but iirc, Anon has stated he plans to do a full revamp of the combat balance once the game is finished, so that front will change before you can even buy it.
Storywise, honestly... The best path is the path you play; you don't really gotta metagame like crazy. This isn't Dark Souls lmao
This game could honestly use optional super bosses
Every chapter going to have a Boar™ boss fight in it.
I mean it's a cultivation story after all. Instead of some random Young Master we will be fighting the Boar™'s whole extended family, finally culminating into a fight with the Boar™'s Wild God ancestor.

It's too early to tell there won't be any. I'm currently hoping at least the top 3 spot won't be practically guaranteed and we'll be forced to pull out all stops.
The Trial's Top 3?
The top 5 in the Trials are currently(which, coincidentally, are the actual top talent of the game if you discount MC and /Jahi/Lost Jester):
- Crusher Jack
- Callous Goro
- Brass Tiger
- Jahi/Lost Jester
- Nakamoto Sakura
- Callous Goro
- Brass Tiger
- Jahi/Lost Jester
- Crusher Jack
- MC
But beating them isn't a 100% chance. Crusher Jack's Dragon Trial fight was supposed to be a wake-up call for normal players. Just because you are the MC doesn't mean you're automatically going to win.
You can actually fall out of the Top 5 over the course of the game, so yes. You will need to pull out all stops against Brass Tiger, Callous Goro(especially him) and of course, Crusher Jack.
Rather than the top 5 which we are basically guaranteed to fight, would be fun to have our mc fight someone with Gate foundation inside a gate in the future.
As funny as it is as a thought experiment, it wouldn't be as epic as you'd probably imagine.
There are actually a few trial-goers in the Archeon trials who have the Gate Foundation. They're unnamed for a reason.
Their talent levels are mid at best, and MC would honestly demolish them. You do remember MC is at a top-5 level, aye?
It would actually take considerable effort to lose to jack and also not get to be top 5, that's why I said "practically guaranteed". Meaning a simple cruise playthrough wouldn't get to succeed.
The game hasn't actually shown a challenge of the sort I'm looking for yet. I'm hopeful against final fight Jack, but let's not pretend Anon hasn't been actively avoiding placing players in undesirable spots (For example, Retconning Brass Tiger on the spot to be a water clone if you attack him and not have him annihilate you)
It's understandable because I imagine writing fights isn't fun at all so why even bother with optional ones, but it does make me feel like all the potential power ups in the game are just there for the sake of being there. (I'm mainly looking for a chance of defeating Jade dragon tier opponents as normal MC right now)

I guess. But every fight doesn't have to be Jack level of difficulty or epicness. It just seems like something which should naturally happen in the story especially since we know there are people with Gate foundations in the trials already.
Besides they can't be that much of a bum that they can't put up atleast some form of resistance inside a gate with their fuel foundations.
I would consider all gate foundation users who intend to fight anyone in the top 5 inside a gate suicidal after our showing
You clearly haven't read any cultivation stories before if you think that's gonna stop them.(I think Anon said that AC isn't exactly based on cultivation genre but it's quite common for nobodies to fight mcs in it and act like portable loot dispensers for him)
Also Goro can simply pay them to fight us and they would agree thinking they have a chance inside a gate. So it could definitely happen regardless.
Is it common knowledge our fuel foundation is gone currently?
