Aura Clash: leaks, sneak peaks, memes and discussion thread.

It would actually take considerable effort to lose to jack and also not get to be top 5, that's why I said "practically guaranteed". Meaning a simple cruise playthrough wouldn't get to succeed.

The game hasn't actually shown a challenge of the sort I'm looking for yet. I'm hopeful against final fight Jack, but let's not pretend Anon hasn't been actively avoiding placing players in undesirable spots (For example, Retconning Brass Tiger on the spot to be a water clone if you attack him and not have him annihilate you)

It's understandable because I imagine writing fights isn't fun at all so why even bother with optional ones, but it does make me feel like all the potential power ups in the game are just there for the sake of being there. (I'm mainly looking for a chance of defeating Jade dragon tier opponents as normal MC right now)

😭 Who's going to tell bro that the Jack fight hasn't been balanced yet?

Regardless, this is still a game balanced around Normal MC, not Mortal Limits MC or JDF MC.

If you're looking for Dark Souls levels of punishment for making a slight mistake, you gotta look elsewhere.

Best keep dreaming then, because a real JDF is above Normal MC, and you're getting clapped if you even try.

Eldra is an unfair example to use, but... You ain't beating Eldra at all. Not even as a JDF right now. Maybe by Book 4-5 you can try, but... It ain't ending well for you.

I guess. But every fight doesn't have to be Jack level of difficulty or epicness. It just seems like something which should naturally happen in the story especially since we know there are people with Gate foundations in the trials already.

Besides they can't be that much of a bum that they can't put up atleast some form of resistance inside a gate with their fuel foundations.
You remember the Steel Thread Alliance? Remember how you basically roll them over if you attack them during the Dragon Trial? It's going to be the same.

You clearly haven't read any cultivation stories before if you think that's gonna stop them.(I think Anon said that AC isn't exactly based on cultivation genre but it's quite common for nobodies to fight mcs in it and act like portable loot dispensers for him)

Also Goro can simply pay them to fight us and they would agree thinking they have a chance inside a gate. So it could definitely happen regardless.
Goro can pay them all the money in the world, and they still probably won't take it.

The showing MC and Jack did during the Dragon Trial is the current show topper of the trials. They raised the bar for everyone. Those trial-goers with fuel foundations of their own know their limits; they see how far MC went above them.

If they try with MC, they know they're going to get clapped at the least... They're going to die at worst.

The fuel foundation is a trash foundation to begin with; MC's was really the best version of it. Everyone else has an even worse version.

Doesn't matter if you've read cultivation stories, bruh; they still have self-preservation instincts.

Is it common knowledge our fuel foundation is gone currently?
Keiko kept it on the downlow.

Uh, when I say JDF, I mean JDF Thunderfaller.

This is also not about making mistakes, it's about optional challenge fights, something to build for...

Well that's somewhat disappointing. But even if it's a one sided beatdown, it's too much of an opportunity to not happen.

I think you are taking what I said a bit too seriously. Aura Clash is a Action/Comedy after all. It's not too farfetched to have some people be dumb enough to try and cross/fight us even after knowing how op mc is thinking they are also "Built different" and can take the mc by jumping him just to get humbled instantly.

Also my point about cultivation stories was that this very thing happens a lot in them. Where Mc is known for achieving some impossible feat but people still try to jump him to get some treasure or on the orders of some young master.

"This guy is known for having defeated people way above his realm. Maybe we should reconsider."

"Nah, we'd win!"

Bo Lo in the flesh part 2

Uh, when I say JDF, I mean JDF Thunderfaller.
Just earlier, you were asking to fight a JDF-level opponent as Normal MC...

So instead, you want to fight a JDF MC as Normal MC? You'll get clapped.

Or do you mean you want to fight a JDF at MC's level? The AP difference will still be too big to bridge.
This is also not about making mistakes, it's about optional challenge fights, something to build for...
There's nothing going to be like that.

There might be some challenging battles here and there. Like the boar during Chapter 4's travel to Nahou, with the stopover at Ewbinao or whatever it's called, with Scholar Taio.

Or another thing that I can't speak about.

But really, the hardest upcoming fights are only ever going to be Brass Tiger, Callous Goro and Crusher Jack v4

Fair enough, I suppose I was taking it all rather seriously ig.

Chapter 9 showed that people are still willing to jump MC, even after the fight. So maybe you'll get your wish about randos trying to think themselves up as Potential Man™.

I just don't think it will be the 3~4 guys in the tournament with Fuel Foundations is all.

It's more likely for them to want to train under you than anything else.

Except, I meant it in a "Jdf players could beat this enemy so they get their power fantasy, and regular MC's could also beat them with good planning" sort of way. You're the one fighting against a completely different agenda than the one I'm running. We're literally not having the same conversation.
There's nothing going to be like that.
And I don't disagree. Just saying I wished we had them.

Hmm. Now that I think about it, Bo fight instead of racing and Boar fight could actually be interesting. Maybe the full game will have some sprinkles here and there.
"Nah, we'd win!"
Back to my point, I doubt fuel foundations dudes would jump us near a gate since we still have the same foundation as far as anyone knows (even tho mc is dumb and tells Leona, so who knows how long that'll remain a secret?)

Bro says one thing and goes off saying, "That's not what I meant"

Smh... Lmao

Leona is 100% going to sell that info to the highest bidderView attachment 42821
This honestly doesn't matter imho. By the next fighting trial, people will figure out MC has a different foundation.

So let Leona give me a cut; I could use the extra shards.

How? Unless we're fighting in a gate I don't know how the info would get out. (Unless you're going Kaito's way
View attachment 42822)

And even if the situation gets bad near a gate, we could still bluff.
Kaito's foundation is an obvious one, second only to Eldra's Jade Chi foundation for normal MCs.

Yang's various foundations would be harder to notice tbh, but as we go deeper and deeper into the trials, people's foundations are going to matter less and less as the weaker trial-goers get filtered out.

The only thing that will matter at that point will be your AP, knowledge and how skilled you are.

I imagine we can choose not to use Jade qi (though this is up for debate, it takes precedence against the Aoyusumu scene against the white tiger (unfortunately...) BUT you can choose not to use it against its attack earlier)

And as long as our Fortitude/agility is up to par, we could still hide our flayed god foundation. (I'm really hoping we get a unique scene in the Jack fight where we eat a meteor on purpose to reenact our first fight lol)

Hiding the info about our new foundation could be huge if anon wants it. Less stupid than Fang hiding a chunk of her AP straight up which is apparently worth doing somehow haha
