well for some reason the image didn't upload, but it went like this "If you want to mod samesex romance in you'll need to look for anywhere in the files that sets "romance +" or "romance -" and that should show you things like "*set desromance + 1" or "set angeloromance - 1", many of these are genderlocked behind an if statement so check the "heshe" variable and flip it. For flags look for "romance >" and that will show you the times where I'm checking the romance variable, you can flip the "heshe" variable here too. I do have a few times where I set romance flags to 0 if the "heshe" flag is same-***, you should find those when searching for "romance >", make sure to delete them. "

im using the public version cause it's easier, i dont fully understand but i think for example one says

I am trying to do so in the CoM discord server, I might abandon it if it really is as hard as they say, but I already found the first obstacle and am asking if anyone can write a rough draft of an alternative for other genders (probably harder for me and more work for our volunteers, but it would be more rewarding) or a neutral version.
I promise that at the very least I will get rid of those If conditions, which are so frequent that it seems as if the author doesn't want even console users to change it. But I suck at creative writing, that is why I would need some help.
Funny thing is, I never considered myself an ally exactly, but I dislike quite a lot when people purposefuly do these kind of things, and then he had the gal to say on the forum that it was because he was inexperienced in that, worst thing is I believed him until I saw the code.
Same, I was fooled completely, but when you take a look it checks constantly for actions if you have the same gender (even when a romance variable would be enough) but what tipped me over the edge was the checks in each chapter to reset the variable to 0 if there was a same gender, you can't just tell me that wasn't a deliberate attack! I can't promise I will maintain it or anything, but it really irked me way too much to ignore it.
