Forum Improvements and Suggestions

At this point with the rise of new users who can somehow access the site but can't even do a simple search in this place maybe put an auto landing page that teaches them what each button on this site does. God what are they teaching in schools now orz
I dont know if it's a problem with my browser or what but I can't edit my posts (on threads or dms). When I try, what I have written goes away, like it got deleted, and I can't write anything either.
Also, in general, the simbols for bold, italic, text color, etc. don't appear to me either. They at least work I guess.

That used to happen to me also, but after I reinstalled my browser (kiwi browser) for other reasons the problem seemed to go away
I’ve been thinking about a couple of things, guys. Is it possible to bring back ads, or not? If so, I—and I think most people on a mod site—would be okay with ads for basically anything. Even betting and adult sites. Anything to keep our beloved forum going. And another thing, I was thinking about Patreon—what would stop the staff from starting an art Patreon? You guys could start an art Patreon and then just every once in a while post a rough sketch of some random crap or a couple of scribbles, and that’s it—we’d subscribe. And then you could use the money for forum maintenance and also as compensation for yourselves, of course, if the Patreon exceeds the budget needed for the forum. I personally would rather spend my money supporting the forum staff than give a single penny to that evil company, Choice of Games. If any of these ideas wete previously considered and discarded, feel free to ignore it. Thanks everyone for making this place so awesome.
As much as I hate ads with my whole being, I agree with this. Putting those, like old school type of ads, that would just sit on the sides somewhere, could do wonders in terms of getting money needed for this website to keep going. And yeah, when it comes to Patreon, some quirks or whatever can be put there, and it could work. Hell, you could make a whole little thing out of that too. I mean, if tiktok level smut can be sold for 20+ bucks, I think there's a high enough chance that people would help out here too, mainly because this place is built on trust and community, unlike the example I gave.
