I did the usual Joiplay since I can't open the actual app, and this has been loading for almost five minutes now..can someone tell me what I might've done wrong for it to load nonstop?

I just did it the usual way, at first I thought it finally worked, because it showed the usual title and opening when we open Dan's apps, but then it kept on loading and loading for almost 10 minutes now , can someone enlighten me pls

when you restarted your save then your cache must've been cleared.

Hello OP. I wanted to get in touch with you, but seems like you have some privacy setting on. So just posting it here.

I have released 2-3 mods of COG games many years ago, back when Sbenny used to allow em. So, I have decent experience of reverse-engineering/breaking COG stuff.

Then I stopped taking much interest in all this stuff, because well life. Last year, I wanted to play some games again, but I wanted to do so on my laptop. So, I figured out a system to do that and all i needed was the scenes txt files and images of game.

I found it more convenient to download apks from this site to get the files, because you guys have recent versions and they are not bundled in xapk or apks. I noticed that you tend to combine the whole game in single HTML (most likely using CSIDE), while another Modder on this site, tends to leave them separate.

I have never had the issue about the missing achievements if I do not use the compiled HTML file. However, if I take txt files and compile them using CSIDE, I also run into the issue.

How has your experience been with using separate scene files instead of compiled html? Does the issue of achievements missing after refresh/closing browser still arise for you if you use separate files instead compiled version?

Update:

Instead of using CSIDE to compile it, I used the compile.html file that is inbuilt in sample COG files. It gave a standalone HTML file, which does not seem to have the issue with missing achievements/ @DanFabulich

I don't use CSIDE

@DanFabulich think it works for others with the updated one..but I can't retrieve my game save file when I enter my email, says can't find any saves... I tried multiple times..I also checked on the cog app and it found the file. I use joiplay btw

don't use joiplay if you want to import/export your saves from/to different books, for titles with multiple books you should use browser.

How do I use browser for it? Idk

Oh think I got it...just gotta open the index.html file on chrome right? But then why even use joiplay in the first place for any game? Isn't chrome easier, any drawbacks?

yes that's how you use it, the reason why I recommend joiplay for other games is because from android 10 and above version you will not be able to see images attached to the game in browser, but currently there are many file manager on android which let you open html in browser along with images attached with the file.

go into your settings and check your android version, then search on google for file managers that let your android version open images in browsers.
