Need help in updating moded games

i have a problem i tried to mod some finished game balance of superpower 2 to be exact because the version on choice of mods is outdated so i wanted to update it i did it already with two other games but it doesnt work anymore in the past i did it on phone with this steps
1 download from app store
2 extract apk
3 put apk in apkmtool and decompile
4 search scene and stats
5 copy paste the mod menu from the outdated version (two lines in the middle and around 100 lines on end)
6 compile project and instal
7 try if work if yes use lucky patcher to go around paywall
sadly its already second time i cant instal the game meaning step 6 wont work
i tried the same with pc with 7-zip because i have a good pc but weak phone but even there after bringing apk on phone it wont install
idk how to mod anymore and its sad because if i could especialy on pc i could update so many games and help the moders on this site if you have any idea how to mod it on pc or even on phone i would be gratefull i tried many tutorials in threads on this site but most are outdated and dont work anymore

"App cant be installed because its not compatible with my phone" the problem is that downloading from any source works be it this site playstore but it only stops working after adding the few lines of code in scenes and stats

Have you tried compiled the original before you modified it? Just to locate the source of the problem. If it's working when you aren't modifying any code, then it could be because of the new code itself. But if it's not working, then the problem could be when you compile the project, either the signatures or the sdk doesn't match with your android version.


If the problem is the latter, make sure you have the right SDK or Signature based on your Android version.

If not all of these... Then... Welp, I don't know either

so i have android 14 and i just changed the signature to v4 but i found out that my apk extractor is the problem after downloading from playstore and extracting apk i cant install the apk idk what to do here what apk extractor do you use or how should i get the apks

I usually use backup feature from lucky patcher to get the apks

how you do that? i only used lucky patcher to bypass paywalls

Choose Tools when you click the app, then choose Backup.

You can find your back up apks file in the same folder of your usually modified apk (Android/Data/your lucky patcher folder here, it's usually a combination of gibberish words/files/LuckyPatcher/Backup)

weird thing is i cant acces this files per phone but per pc by plugging my phone to pc

i got the apk i got everything except that somehow after replacing the choicescript_stats code with the moded one the mod dont work idk if i need to replace some other code too but im losing my mind here i have been trying to this **** all day with a **** phone yet i cant get it running. i realy dont need much but for gods sake just let me have a superhero game that is decently long and DOESNT INVOLVE ALIENS T_T
