newcomer arriving with some questions

hello everyone! i happened to stumble across this community today and was pleasantly surprised by everything i've seen so far.
well, as the thread title suggests, i'm having some trouble and hoping to get help from anyone willing and able to.

i've noticed others also having issues using android mods from @DeiArcana and i'm wondering if they're still functional. i've tried using BlueStacks as well as the 'index.html' file located in '\assets' in my browser, but nothing works. it seems to me that DeiArcana has been away from the forum for some time, which is understandable (and i sincerely hope they're doing well, wherever they might be), so my question is:
are these android-based interactive stories a lost cause? if so, i'll still be happy to enjoy the numerous windows-based mods that Dei shared with us.

For me, the DeiArcana mods do not work on PC, tablet, emulator, or Index. They stopped working one day, and from that day until today, I have never found a way to make them work again, so I only play Dan mods now.

The mods work better on older androids, newer ones tend to find that there is something wrong with license. You always can unpack them and play with html if nothing else, but some games having problem with it.
Also, if you unpack and play on PC, you need to be absolutely sure that you use folders with different names for different games, or browser can mix the cache with previous game and you are screwed.

Is Dans mods better than Dei? In general, they are slightly better, thought mistakes happen for him too, but the main difference between Dan and Dei is that first almost always upload mods locally on this site and the second one mostly use one of the filehosting sites. And as result there are plenty of a annoyance, to the point them can straight up dissapear.
