I don't know about that... But I strongly deny the possibility of him having dao. It's simply too absurd, much more so than the story about Ruo being Heaven's favorite. Even the MC, who always had his physique, only got his dao thanks to Tang Wei's memories.
He definitely doesn't have dao.He probably got qi with some experiment and maybe even lady butterfly helped him if the HE are aligning with her in shadows doesn't matter tho he can have all qi he wants he still can't utilise it anywhere near to our MC's level because of the dao and also because of mc being a genius genetically in all of the technique stuff.It's like car filled with jet fuel lol He gang can never utilise it properly whereas mc is a jet which although doesn't have enough fuel due to the sh*t hole world still will be superior with even the smallest amount of qi we got.

It’s funny that you say the MC is a genius when it comes to that, considering that my MC can’t use a single Qi ability for most of the game. I barely even have the chance to raise my Dao to 3 after I get the Dao fruit, since I went with Ma Rin’s route, so for me, Qi is only useful for regeneration. So far, I haven’t found any other use for it.
So I’ll most likely switch to MG as my mentor if Ma Rin’s route ends up leading nowhere, especially now that the extra gold you can win from betting in the arena has made the gold from Ma Rin’s route useless.

Lady butterfly defo help him she doesn't has any capacity to give him Dao since she use a mortal body to walk on our world (thanks to daddy wei protection) at most she can only give Qi and meridian in order to use it

It's just my theory and it's quite possible that I'm wrong, but I don't think He Gang has meridians or dantian, not real ones at least. I started thinking this after reading @kazuya 's question. And I'm not even talking about something perfect like what the MC has, but rather something average or inferior.
And even if he really has it, I believe it comes at a huge cost. Something along the lines of "losing part of your lifespan", like Granolah from DBS.

Yes. I believe that he has some artifact in his body that allows him to store and use Qi or that he uses Qi in the same way that he uses IE, but that this is harmful.
Just to be clear, I'm not assuming anything nor do I have any information other than that provided in the sneak peek. I'm just trying to formulate something that explains the situation, since I refuse to believe that martial artists can simply become cultivators without the help of a god like Tang Wei.

All of this talk about He gang and how he has Qi got me thinking...what if the answer was more simple than it seem? This is only a speculation but what if he got them naturally? It always struck me as odd that He gang was said "to have delayed his come back to the sect", to leave the mountain there are only 2 ways, 1 through missions and 2 by order of an elder or a personal problem like the Wu mission, yet in 3 years He gang never came back to the sect meaning it is more of a personal matter than a mission which lead to an answer what if he got Qi and meridians through a danger zone? Tang wei said that meridians are a "natural mutation" in Qi rich worlds and Danger zones are fragmented worlds, what if He gang went into a Danger zone that is rich with Qi and through the 2,5-3 years he spent there he "mutated" and got meridians?
