I can already see the Ruo rematch fight right now, we definitely are going to advance stages in the fight again. And that’ll be Ruo excuse so Ruo won’t have to look bad.
I hope not, it would be too obvious. But if it happens, let it be well written. Truth be told, a good scene, even if predictable, brightens my day. Just like when I watched Bleach, specifically the fight between Ichigo x Kenpachi or Ichigo x Ulquiorra, so predictable but so cool.

That looks like the true Devil Breakout you'll get during the fight with the Demon Extermination Squad. Could it possibly a scene only for those tricked them so you didn't fight them at the start of the tournament, or are we going to get two true Devil Breakout in a row?
The stage end for mc after the first devil breakout

Its been a long time since i did a full playthrough so remind me, have there actually been any fight where its just base vs base with no asspulls or plot armour? The demon queen's son's fight comes to mind but Im not sure.

I think the first fight in the arena, the fight against the bandit leader, the fight against the three disciples (the one the senior one recommended), the fight against the first tattooed tribesman, the fight against the tribe leader's sister (if you kill him), the fight against LDQ (arguable), the second fight in the arena (after the coma), the fight against the Tang brothers, the fight against the Vampire (though he was weakened, so it's arguable), the fights in the Arena (also arguable). I can think of a few others, but these certainly have "plot armor" for the MC or his opponents. The ones I mentioned as "arguable" are fights I'm not sure about.

Chao’s original kid might’ve been stronger lol don’t forget he was generational before everything with Mc.
He was a generational talent but he wouldn't actually be that strong. Chao would neve be DQ or MG level even in his prime if he reached S

And no he would have been weaker than even Inner Energy mc

Is this not being strong? He would’ve been 4-7 strongest S

He wouldn't be DQ or MG level which is what actually matters.
In fact, it would make a difference. Although Wu Chao would still be defenseless against someone of TY or DQ's level, the Wu Clan's situation would be completely different.

He would raise the status of the Wu Clan. If Wu Chao was between Bohai and DQ, he would probably be on the level of figures like Patriarch Yang or Patriarch Su. This would place the Wu Clan just below the Tang, Yang and Su Clans, making it much richer, more reliable and more influential.

Therefore, the MC would have grown up with better resources. Tang Ruo (the "greatest genius in history", 🥱) himself, recognized that the main difference between him and the MC was resources.

MC's performance reinforces this impact. The MC grew up in a situation only slightly better than that of a poor minor clan, but even so, at the same stage and age, he was practically invincible. In the first half of the game (before the coma), MC defeated all opponents his age (except Ruo).

Even now, whem almost all opponents of the same level are older, MC has yet to lose a one-on-one fight.

So Wu Chao continuing to progress wouldn't make him a monster like TY or DQ, but the impact it would have on the Wu Clan and on MC himself would be great.
