No, even disregarding the distant potential, the MC's physique is superior. It's said in the game that the Chaos Origin Physique is incomparable for studying/progressing in the Dao. It's very likely that if MC's Dao was Sword Dao, MC would sooner or later surpass Ruo as a swordsman. The only real disadvantage of Chaos Origin Physique is that the Heavens “hate” the bearer.
And what exactly does Ruo's physique do? I don't think it has been fully mentioned, but as far as I understood, the only thing our physique had over his was the limit, not the learning ability.
In the conversation with Tang Wei, he says “you are a possessor of Chaos Origin Physique, someone with unparalleled gift to study the Dao”, as he is who he is, we can assume that his statement is a fact. In the conversation with Butterfly, she not only mentions that MC has god potential, she also says that if he doesn't die, MC will reach god level in record time.
As for Ruo's physique (still unnamed, but Butterfly says he's a Sword Child), as far as has been said, he's attracted to the sword and instinctively understands its Dao, he's a Dao Child, he's protected and loved by karma and the Heavens (Nicky). It is also said that his growth is irrational and that with a sword in hand, his techniques are simply more powerful.
Also this is what the Blood King said about it to Tang Wei "You have the Chaos Origin Physique, a physique so powerful and rare even the Heavens are jealous of it! "

Probably all the ROs will die in the end. There's a reason the Sage tells us not to get attached to anyone. Learn from Tang Wei's tragedy and don’t follow the same path.
There is a decent chance that the Omniscient Sage is a rogue supporter and that is why he said it
Honestly I don’t care what anyone in the poma world says, they really don’t know anything and if they do they’re getting it from someone who’s probably not 100% honest. Like I’ll take dreamweaver word. All I’m saying is they’ll say whatever to get Wu heir on their side.

The theory also makes Shen Long Mu main madness and grief entirely unrelated to us or anything from the POMA world making it far less impactful and useless narratively speaking. There are countless and countless worlds spread across the universe with Dragons in them. Why would Yichen slaughtering the equivalent of a grain of sand of them make her as Dreamweaver put it "She's back... Each time that she wakens, her mind slips further into madness. Each time that she howls in torment, worlds collapse".
Now if you switch a dragon god with a human god who had her daughter stolen by Tang Wei and sacrificed in a ritual? It makes her actions and the effects of each part of her name far more sense along with her madness and grief. It ties well narratively speaking to the mc with Tang Wei
