I agree but i dont think the Ruo fight is the right time or the situation for MC to suffer a scripted loss. In the first fight, I would have been okay with losing to Ruo, would have been a good wake up call. But now I would not be okay with it. I'm 50-50 on the LC fight since it kinda made sense ig. He was fighting against two prodigy MHs with one of them possible of upping two stages going all out (MC could fight and win against a LH that soon after getting Dantain so saying Ruo could beat a low level PH makes sense to me) and a strong PH who is the student of the Omniscient Sage. Ofc I only say this cuz we, the MC and Ruo were in the fight but the current tourney events gave a perpective to me on how strong LC was so im kinda conflicted with my ego and realism lmao. If we go a specific route, we beat 5 PH 1v5, #17 of arena 1v1, and 10 PH 1v10 in a row with little breaks in between which i think is pretty amazing. Idk how strong Mo Long is now but we beat him in the past, and Mo Long kinda put Chu Muchen (#5 in arena i believe) on his *** so we can say he gives him a run for his money. Man its all so confusing, thats the main reason why a scripted loss in the next two stages of the Tourney and against Ruo would be disappointing, Best use the fights to set the powerlevels of both of us compared to PH LC and the rest of the Arena. We've got 3v3s and a bunch of 1v1's so Niki has a lot of opportunity to clear up powerlevels and set standards.
Thing is we don’t know if Chu even tried, seems like he let Mo Long do that to him. I’m just saying to me if we beat Ruo again 100% I don’t want to hear about Ruo being our rival or Ruo usual arrogance. It all goes away because my MC would be 2-0 vs Ruo and I don’t want to be compared anymore idc how Niki tries to hype him in the future. That’s why I think it’s getting interrupted. Fraud watch soon. The thing with LC was his regeneration no one could beat him he’s outlast anyone so it’s not even fair tbh. Yeah hopefully we can settle some PH rankings because he has said both MC and Ruo will be X before this book is over. Idk how much we have left, but we’re already at 700kish words, and seems like we are setting up future books plot with rogues vs tangs plot. I just want to know where MC stands really, everyone gives different answers when I ask about MC level.
Would not be surprised If she show up in the tournament, i dont think It was said but i guess its flesh and blood manipulation, shapeshifting and ghost stuff (ilusions and summoning of ghostly heads)
Talking about realms and power does anybody knows if we will have something similar to aura forming? its that "stage" between peak houtian and first rebirth of xiantian.
Mo Long has to be somewhere near his level if he's able to ragdoll Chu Muchen into buildings. I agree regarding Ruo. If we keep winning or keep losing, it'd become boring soon. At the same time, none of us want to lose to Ruo especially when we are possibly as strong as him. Best abolish any idea of Ruo vs MC after this fight for a long time and build up hype for their next battle. Make the tourney fight the fight which actually kickstarts our rivalry for real. Two of us going all out and ending up in a stalemate, Ruo actually respecting our strength instead of being amused by us like he is. Could be an amazing fight if written well. This might just be the biggest challenge for Niki lmao. It's clear the way we fight, where the story's at, we are very close to X. Thats why i believe MC is very close to atleast top 5. Above that I need to see the top 5 fight or us fighting the top 5 to come to a conclusion. There's also the fact that our Demon almost one shot a EX. We are closer than we think ig. One push and we might advance. Matter of fact, I think both us and Ruo will advance at the same time which will null the tourney. The tourney will finish without outside interrruptions and MC and Ruo get to fight it out.
I've been thinking, Why'd the elders decide to remove the competition for the Prime Disciple spot and add a all sect Houtain tourney? Has to be a plot behind this for sure. Im suspecting Havoc sect has an agenda here considering they planned to kill our sect students in the danger zone.

Aura forming is for those with Inner Energy ig. Ruo already formed an aura partially thanks to papa Niki. It might just be different for those with Qi.
Yup after scrolling throughout tumblr looking for something he said in and he said we are near the end of B1 also he’s thinking of doing 2 big books now instead of 3. So we should be nearing the the EX advancement soon. I think we can have Ruo getting saved by the heavens and advancing and MC advancing after out of anger/ pity of being weak and boom, we do a few attacks towards each other before elders stop it because we aren’t PH anymore. Would be a fair way of letting the battle play out and still having a stalemate and setting up Ruo rivalry for the future. Also someone in our higher ups are scheming most likely baldy, someone clearly set Chu up. Changed the tournament rules and don’t forget sage and Xiwen are around now, so there’s definitely rogues in the sect 100%. I feel an attack happening.
Yes I was referring to what LC gave to Mei, TW even says he was manipulated by her I believe.
Schemes are everywhere man. I think both the Rogues and the Havoc sect are scheming something. I was mildly surprised the Havoc sect were willing to sabotage the expedition without any worries for repruccusions. Both attacks will happen at the same time and we might be caught in the middle confused af. Maybe the true path branching happens now? We side with the Rogues and attack Ruo, We defend Ruo and attack the Rogues or we just stay out of it. LB did say she needed our answer after the tourney and that we must lead the youngsters against the empire.
The thing is I honestly don’t know if DQ would follow Lady Butterfly, she’s just crazy and will probably 3rd party lol. The way Niki mentioned her just being insane and not all there I can’t see her scheming, she’s straightforward type imo. Havoc is the type to attack both sides imo, and I think that’s what will happen. Also is Lady Butterfly the one who spooked Caihong in her POV?
I’m talking about when you first meet her POV, it’s like “the scary lady won’t come again, she promised to help you with your mission if you stopped killing” she’s referring to Lady Butterfly right? Because Caihong is a Peak X so to scare her not even sword mistress scared her. Guessing Lady Butterfly recruited Caihong or attempted to before we met her.
There's not much powerful female Shangtains. Only 2 i believe, DQ and Tang Jia. We dont know how strong LB is but at the very least she has to be stronger than Sovereign. Its not Tang Jia. DQ is too insane to have a civil conversation and schemes. LB is the only one who schemes and is powerful enough. Its either her or an entirely new character. But how would she even reach her? She needs a mini cult just to talk to people.

We know it’s not Tang Jia, because they fought and she clearly was not scared of her even if she lost. Can’t be DQ because like you said she probably can’t hold a conversation. Her mission is clearly to Kill the Tangs so LB fits the help, but how did she reach her. They aren’t telling us something .
