so i basically have to let myself be at the edge of death against the 1vmany? or its an option during the fight cus i usually have many things in place to make sure i dont die so i may not have gotten the option cus of having high health

I think it happens regardless of your health. It’s a scripted choice. Then a xiantian will arrive after the demon is let out.

Depends on the route DES it sees you're a bum and takes over, normal route you can choose to be a bum and let it take over
Sorry I got it confused with Ai. No Mei offers to help you get rid of it, but to let it out you have to accuse her of plotting against you and it happens. If you have iron will or this was your only break out you can resist. But it’s just a choice.
You have to have 90+ demon rating going into the tourney, survive the initial encounter with the DES and then your devil will take over in any case.
Yeah at least on the normal route you can win without a crashout. On the demon route you have to let the devil take over anyway.
The elders appear after winning the tourney tho the demon will try and gaslight you, in the ai route 2 xiantians will appear if you crash out enough and beat you
Also side note - **** Ruo once again. That bastard in the POV of your fight with the DES literally says he beat them casually, even though they weren’t using the whole karmic chain thing, still **** that.

With us they went all out and tried to kill us using everything with ruo they cant do that cuz of big yichen and ruo probably used 1 or 2 of his cheats
Yeah that's true but still, even to get them to the point where the use their ult you have to go all out and spend a **** ton of Qi. The fact that Ruo got them to the point where they just give up without using the ult so casually still makes me mad.
Ruo is Karma protected so they are kinda f*cked
The mc the DES fought had 80%+ Demonic not 80%+ Saint

Chaos Origin Physique means MC will be contested by the heavens every step of the way. Hes cultivating on max difficulty by default.
Doesn't exist. Ruo is favored by the heavens because he's a Dao Child, it has nothing to do with good or bad karma.
EDIT: What could happen is the DES can only go all out against demonic ppl similar to Fu Bing, but theres no evidence of that afaik
From what I could interpret from the game, Karma and the Heavens are two separate “entities”. The Saint MC can have good Karma, which is why certain techniques don't even work against him, as we can see in the Danger Zone Events; while the Dark Side MC has bad Karma, which is why DES's techniques are extremely effective against the MC. As for the Heavens, it hates the MC regardless of the route. Ruo is an exception, because both the Heavens and Karma love him, so whether he's a Saint or a Demon, Karma-based techniques should have no effect on him.
