Xiwen lost to his art, not his stats. During their fight in expo, Xiwen easily cut him and LC survived only because of art. And Xiwen far from strongest himself. LC was pseudo Xiantian during his fight with Xiwen and Ruo, which considerably buffed his regen and probably stats. If not this, LC would have died from Ruo sneak attack (LC himself said this).

I'm pretty sure most of them will die and it is not too far from happening. Tigress surely dies if you let her go alone, ai dies either way (pretty sure she is a gooner) mc is kinda like gon with kaito and neferpitou, she is dead fam, if getting someone to get revived was so easy we wouldn't have this story lol. Ruo isn't even a romance and probably never will be, he/she probably will kinda get softer with mc at some point like sasuke with naruto, then something wil happen and it will go to hell all again, ruo being just a rival is just fine for me, just wish there were more clashes between mc and him. Poma isn't a romance, i'm pretty pretty sure at some point most of them will die or mc will have to kill them either way. I just know mc is following to the brim what TW said "you will need to kill almost the whole population to get to nascent soul" and i'm not worried tbh.
